I wonder about a forum for all things moon related? I just read the thread for cutting your hair by the moon phase. Oooo and since this is everything under the moon....?....hummmm, wellll?

There's a lot to cover... Might be a good reference to have it all in one place.

Much of the information about it is so disjointed, might be a good exercise to put it all together. I have some stuff from my BOS which I could share.

Always good to brush up on all things Vedic also.

Perhaps a 'working with the moon' magical guide?

It is a lot to cover.... But yes there would be benefits for having it all in one place. Good to exchange ideas and practice points too...

I know with the farmers almanac they have the gardening and fishing. I need to buy one for this new year...

And spell work, cooking, etc. I think someone recently put up a link that's about hair trimming and grooming. Kinda neat.

I love the forum idea and also Dark-Moon's "working with the moon guide" suggestion. I think with people new to the craft especially, the idea of moon phases and the moon's place in practice can be a little overwhelming, because it is such a lot to remember on top of crystal qualities, colour associations etc. I think a forum on the subject could be a big help.

I would love for there to be a moon forum! That is my main focus at the moment. I have been reading, learning, as well as practicing and developing my own moon rituals and various practices, but I still have so very much to learn. I am very interested in learning more spells and moon magick so I greatly appreciate any book and spell/ritual sharing.

It would have been the perfect place for my 'light of the sun, dark of the moon' post that I made last summer. Which I will be updating soon... it has been a long, dark winter here.

A lot of my BoS is lunar-related so it would be great to see a section for that! Plus I'm always interested in learning more. ;)

Cool idea. I put the new forum under the "Wicca 101: The Basics of the Craft" section, since that's pretty basic craft knowledge. Although I'm realizing now that those who don't practice "Wicca" may have a problem with it being listed there. I'll just change the title of that to "Witchcraft/Wicca 101: The Basics of the Craft" to fix that problem.

I like the idea of the moon forum. Though do you think it could cover planetary powers as well? One thing people work with from time to time as well as moon phases and alignments are planetary powers, hours, and alignments. They two often together magically boosts spells to a different degree.

We have an astrology forum already where I believe that sort of thing is discussed.
