Re: My first question
My partner was shocked and surprised when I told him I was a Witch, however I explained that my path is nature based and pure goodness. He was genuinely scared at first but after I explained everything he is cool and doesn't have a problem with it at all. Saying that he isn't religious. We've been t...

Re: Christian witch? Oh yeah, I'm one of those :)
Witchcraft isn't a religion so you can be a Christian Witch, IF Christianity accepts that. Having read the bible myself I can think of many times where it condemns Witchcraft, magic and communication with the dead all of which make up the act of Witchcraft.

Re: finding someone like you??
The Triskele is a very old witch sign, if wearing a pentagram is too obvious for your parents a triskele will also do the job as well. Moon's on jewellery is another give away. There are some gorgeous goddess pendants on ebay that are discreet to the people you don't want to know, yet clear signals ...

Re: Herbal Tea
I love Nettle tea especially when its time of the month, as it soothes aches and pains. Its really easy to make and grows in my garden which is an added bonus.

Re: What herbs are associated with dreams?
Rosemary, Thyme and Bay are all great for dreams, especially bay which aids lucid dreaming. These all work well in charm work.

Re: Getting Down and Dirty...
Hiya Being in the UK I can tell you about Herbs we have here but not sure if you have access to ones we don't have - does that make sense? Herb basics are that they love good drainage so use a layer of gravel under the soil to drain away access water. What kind of soil do you have? If it is very thi...

Re: Wearing a Pentacle
Go for it if you want one. I find now though alot of people wear them for no reason other than trying to be cool and showing others what path they follow. The pentagram has taken over from some other equally important symbols of our faith such as the triskele. Basically what I'm trying to say is wea...

Re: ummm.... suffer major depression and have attempted suic
Obvioulsy being new I don't know if you've posted anymore about your condition elsewhere so forgive me please if you have. I just wondered if you'd be to see a Doctor about your depression? Alot of people treat depression like a dirty secret as they are worried what people will think but there is no...

Re: Eucalyptus uses?
I love Eucalytus. I only know of one tree I can actually get to and that is in London. You are very lucky :) I've used the leaves before in a hot bath mixed with lavendar to help clear my head and help me sleep. You can tie the leaves in a square of muslin if you don't want them floating around. As ...

Re: Beltane!
I love Beltane though last year it was very rainy and miserable. We went to a Celtic Harmony camp but it was pretty poor attempt at a fire festival. There was a weeny maypole and a miserable fire. This year we are having a big get together with lots of friends all making and bringing food and drink....

Re: Empaths
If your an empath you'll often be called 'over sensitive' or a 'sensitive' by others and this will probably be one of the first signs that you are an Empath. Being an Empath develops over time. It is important to make time for yourself when your an empath, and learning how to ground and centre yours...

I love those, you are both clearly gifted with the power of words. I especially like the Sweeping one, I can see how the ryhme of the chant helps the act of cleaning. I also like how they are simplistic yet complex if that makes sense.

Changelings
A changeling is a creature typically described as being the offspring of a fairy, troll, elf or other legendary creature that was been left in the place of a human child. Sometimes the term is also used to refer to the child who was taken. The apparent changeling could also be a stock or fetch, an e...

Power animals
I believe in the shamanistic view that we all have power animals. Power animals are animals that appeal to us directly and depending on the type of animal depends on the view of the world we get from it. Power animals can come to us at any time and not just in the flesh. They can often bring the key...

Re: Cora's BOS
My page dedicated to Imbolc: Imbolc happens at the beginning of February. It is when the first lambs are born and ewe's milk is available again after the long winter. The year is beginning to stir and wake-up. This is the time of year when we say goodbye to winter and welcome the coming spring. If t...
