Re: Blogging The Shadows
I decorated my altars for Imbolc last night and discovered a problem. I am aware of the fact that my big altar sits on the heat vent, I just had no idea how hot things would get above the vent. Quite hot, obviously. :( I had candles inside the altar melt around their bottoms. One now looks like a p...

Re: Echo's Witchy Things
Before I get started, I would like to say that these Imbolc altars are extra special. ::coolglasses:: My cat, Dust Bunny helped me set them up. Helping means sitting on me, sitting on the big altar, sitting inside the big altar, playing with the pine cones I just removed from the mini altar, chewin...

Re: Draconic Wicca?
We don't really have much information on Draconic Wicca here on the forum, but we've got a couple threads: Help With Draconic Wicca Worked with dragons? I actually think having more information about Draconic Wicca would be a nice addition, so Seraphin and anyone else, when you've got the time and i...

Re: A question about Wiccan ancestry
It happens. Some people think that "it's in my blood" sounds more mysterious than "I'm pioneering the way for future generations." Whatever makes the magickal boat sail more smoothly.

Re: A question about Wiccan ancestry
I think your friend is pulling your chain with her "lineage." While some magickal systems are found to have been around for centuries, Wicca itself is a modern concept. Wicca is thought to have started in the early twentieth century and the form many are familiar with, the one popularized ...

I'm not sure if "Sport Deities" are helpful, but perhaps the gods of strength and physical prowess might be of interest to you.

Re: Hello!
Hi again. It's nice to have you back.
That "Remember me" option is pretty good until you've got to log in on another browser. I ended up changing my password because I forgot it and didn't feel like hunting down the piece of paper it was written on.

Re: Echo's Witchy Things
I know how you feel. :) At our last place, most of my bedroom was used as storage space. My altar is an end table and it was being used to hold the TV, video game system and any assorted junk usually put there by my boyfriend. I tried using a little spot on top of the bookshelf, but that was a catch...
