Re: Tea, Anyone?

I love tea! I grew up with bags of dark tea submerged in a pot that was previously made hot. Man, there was a strict code for tea making in our house. NEVER SQUEEZE THE BAG ON PAIN OF DEATH!! It's stuck with me. Now I prefer loose teas-especially Japanese style teas. We have a great place here for a...

Re: The New Meat Meet!

Hi Keria, I'm an earth sign too-Capricorn. I really appreciate and can relate to the Virgo. Your profile looks very familiar-that is to say I'm pretty sure I was reading and interested in one of the threads you were involved in, or commenting on and nodding my head-yup....now to remember which one.....

Re: Why can't I feel plants souls?

Maybe it's silly speaking to a very stale thread, but I'm wondering how the process of connecting with plant energy is going? Seraphin Murmur had some great advice on the subject. I kind of just "tune in" through allowing space and feeling the opposite to know what the presence feels like ...

Re: The New Meat Meet!

That sounds like an epic trip with your parents. I'll bet you remember that trip vividly. Simply amazing. Orcas Island, from what I have heard-is NOTHING to sneeze at. I am lucky to be here, and I'm thankful for the landscape each day.

Re: The New Meat Meet!

Thank you all for the warm greetings. TwilightDancer-do you find playing as stress relieving as I do? It sure gives me something else to think about and enjoy. Firebirdflys-I think that's amazing, then you are very familiar with the feel of this area. Did you ever get to visit Bowen? The world alrea...

Re: What do I do first?

Good for you! This is awesome. I was raised Catholic, and while I loved "the creator" (God as you say) and felt this was one way to come to know "Him" as they say.....I wanted more. It was too narrow for me. I wanted not to be limited about all of the ways knowing the spirit/spir...

Re: Fathers PTSD

I do hope that you and your Dad are doing alright and taking it day by day. My partner is retired from the Candian Forces and he has PTSD and all the fun stuff that goes with it. Each person is so different, and it's nearly impossible to say what is right. I suffered from PTSD after my dad was kille...

Re: Please help me help my apple tree

Hi Michael. How are they doing? Fingers crossed. I'm so late to the apple tree party. They might be a bit shocked but hopefully they recover. A root booster maybe-a 10-52-10...? Soil and Water Requirements: "Apples trees can grow in a wide range of soils from medium textured clays to gravelly s...

The New Meat Meet!

Hello everyone~ I stopped by a few days ago and had a good read of your site, and overall community. I thought I would create a profile to visit and see. I really appreciated the level of respect that seems to be a core value here. I'm 36, and a fun fact about me is that I have lived on islands my w...
