Re: I have'nt done astral travel before, any tips?

In the tradition that I study, the part of the soul that travels and projects, is called the ba. Im not sure about travel or projection, because I don't do that often. But I do know that its possible to get lost, lose connection to your physical body. In my specific tradition, if your ba is separate...

Re: How to Celebrate Lughnasadh

Yeah, but Christians don't celebrate Lammas so I don't think it really matters if that's what they changed it to. It's about the tradition and the honoring of the divine and the harvesting and all that. Not the name. But now that I know how to pronounce it, I can say it ^•^

Re: Witchcraft vs. Wicca

Cult is the political correct term. A cult is any small religious group and back then, it was small.

Could you put the wood/antler tip and stone in the vial and then seal it?

Haha. That's why I just call it Lammas. It's basically Llamas.

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity

I have to go for now. While its lunch time for you, its 1:30 am for me and I have to go church today in 7 and 1/2 hours. I usually pray to Serket at 9:30. Would it be bad to "go to the bathroom" and pray there during church?

I'll add my spell input in a few hours.

Re: Looking For a Post About Ethereal Bonds

I was interested in finding more ways to break the bonds between a voodoo doll and its victim. I remembered reading the post and thought that some of the information in there may be useful. The reason the post is so vague is because it completely slipped my mind. It said something about making ether...

Yeah, because I don't know where to get antler tip.

Maybe in the spell you could do something about expelling things that cloud thought?

Re: Nitika the spirit?

I agree with Vesca. But there's also the slim chance that the author made a pact with the spirit. I've found that fey and spirits alike, love gifts. So perhaps its a trade. I really don't know though, I haven't read the book. *EDIT: Now, I just read through the reviews and people said it worked. But...

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity

Could it be carved from pine or cedar? My friend found a fallen cedar branch deep in the woods around my neighborhood and carved a claw out of it. He left about an inch of bark at the base. So we could carve things out of cedar or pine, drill a hole in the base and put some string through it?

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity

Sounds good to me. And maybe instead of bathing, what if sort of painted the moon water and essential oils onto the amulet with a cedar or pine twig?

Sorry for the long time to reply, I started a personal blog.

Could we make some moon water under the full moon, mix in some of the essential oils, and then bathe the amulet in it?
