For those who are not familiar with what a glamour is, it is the use of magick to change your appearence (in a small way) to th...

Re: Mists of Avalon Video-Mystic's Dream by Loreena McKennit
I've been wanting to read Priestess of Avalon and Lady of Avalon. I bet they are excellent books, as she is an excellent author! They are amazing. I had the creepiest thing happen when I finished Lady of Avalon years ago. I had finished the last sentence of the book and I had a candle going while r...

Re: How and when to curse someone
I honestly do not believe it is right to outright curse someone. You can wish someone get what they deserve in life and that is a way to make sure Karma will most likely not come back to bite you. Honestly, I find curses to be negetive in the aspect of making someone pay. It is not for us to decide ...

I decided to expand my divination with Runes as well. I find them accurate at times and other times it can be tough. Work with them and practice I say go for it!

Re: child seeing and talking to spirits
I think it is important to encourge your little girl to explore this gift. She is innocent to the ills of this world and honestly, this is not only wonderful on a spiritual level but developmentally it is not unusual either. Keep encouraging her.

Re: PhD
What experience have you in eaching at college level? Or teaching in general? I would go to the source and ask people who already are working in that area how the chances are to get a job there, how their life feel, if they regret their way, what one could do to enhance their chances of getting suc...

Re: PhD
I would suggest sticking with your Phd. What type of job are you trying to get? What is open in the work place for both degrees? Happiness will come along with sucess. You can always do history independently. Hi JBRaven, My ultimate goal is to teach full time at the college level. You were suggesti...

I am not sure which direction to take. I got an English Degree as an Undergrad (3.1 if I remember correctly was my GPA) and I got...
