Re: Old World Witchcraft Blog: Simple & Easy Banishing Ritua
I've been told that's because a lot of weed mixes actually contain sage. I couldn't say from personal experience though, the only drugs I've ever really been into are caffeine and small bits of alcohol.

Re: I Can't Cut Off My Beard - Have I Been Cursed?
As an example, I (Literally) just went to the bathroom and picked up a pair of scissors to at least trim it and as soon as they were within roughly 4 inches of the beard they broke at the fulcrum point into two useless halves. Now I have to go out and buy a new pair to open packages with this weeke...

Also to air out the house. It can get quite smoky in enclosed spaces when using sage.SilverWort wrote: Always, always, always leave a window open to outside to let negative energies go out the room.

Re: Wicca books?
Read Scott Cunningham's guide to solitary Wicca Read Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland then read Evolutionary Witchcraft by T. Thorn Coyle ! And after those read Mastering Witchcraft by Paul Huson. And Modern Wicca by Mike Howard would fill you in with a lot of facts and in...

Re: Question about hard polytheism
From study and meditation, I'm beggining to feel I fall more into the hard polytheism group. The thing I'm curious about is how do other hard polytheist see the afterlife? Are all heavens real? And also, if you believe all gods are distinct individuals, why do you worship the Wiccan gods bur not ot...

Re: Question about hard polytheism
When I made my last post, I did not understand the difference between "hard polytheism," and "soft polytheism." This is the first community I have visited which uses these definitions. The post I made was from the standpoint of "soft polytheism." I love people who refl...

Re: How do I stay safe while hexing?
I'm going to join in on the "there are better ways of healing than hexing" category. My thoughts have pretty much been covered. I'm going to add a personal belief of mine (I won't be offended if you disagree, but I've seen it prove its worth many times over). People will reap what they sow...

When copy/pasting content directly from a source (i.e. when the words you're submitting and the content within is not your own), proper citation is needed. That includes quotations. Below is the technically correct way to cite a web page you are directly copy/pasting information from (as I have). T...

Re: Need Advice - Paranoia and Manic/Depression
It may be worth looking into some programs for low/no-income mental health care. They exist, but can sometimes be a little hard to find if you don't know how to look for them. Here is a site where you can look up information on facilities near you: www.211unitedway.org There are also a few numbers i...
