When I look up or research things I put it in my computer files.

Once I've actually put together a ritual it goes into my book. Any personal experiences, quotes or specifically wiccan ideals (ie the Wiccan Rede) also go into my book.

I haven't developed my Book of Shadows yet, but I have a neat story regarding one. A family friend, a wiccan, is also a high ranking Freemason. I don't know what you know about Masons, since they are very secretive, but their ceremonies have a lot to do with God - that's what the big 'G' means, btw....

I'm not exactly sure I have familiars since I've only just starting doing any rituals, but they feel 'right'. Anyway, my familiars came to me rather than the other way around. Unfortunately, one is kind of 'borrowed'. 8 years ago, I wanted a kitten for my new apartment. A girl a worked with at the t...

Wicca and Satan? eep.

Ok, I have a question. I've only just begun any 'structured' training in Wicca, and one thing I was taught that I have always believed is that there is no Satan. The word satan originally means, literally, adversary, and the personifications most commonly associated with that name these days are the...

Wow, that's kind of neat.

Being someone who has yet to have a child, I don't know what feelings are normally experienced during this momentous occasion, but perhaps it was a connection of spirits? Maybe your child is special, or you will share a particularily special bond.

Just a guess.

I think any living creature can be a familiar. I don't know if you can actually have more than one, but my kitten, Tahl, and my snake, Annabelle, both seem to share the job :) As for spiders - btw I was arachnophobic until this past summer - they are masterful artisans and architects. They can be st...

I have an indoor herb garden with rosemary, basil, chives, fennel, parsley, coriander, marjoram. thyme and oregano. I have it set up on a 3 tiered corner-designed garden stand, about 47" tall. I installed 2 18" full-spectrum lights (meant for terrarium and vivarium use) overtop with the pl...

For the last few years, our family has had a huge bonfire after dinner and performed the following ritual (adapted from 'Kindling the Celtic Spirit'): Answer in your mind and heart the following: What would I like to change about myself? What would I like to change about my community? What would I l...

Well, a doctor is definately a good idea. Aside from that, general anxiety could be a problem. You mentioned that it only started when she started researching Wicca? Well, the experience of new thoughts and concepts previously alien to someone can put a lot of stress on them. How about trying medita...
