Re: Sunflowers spiritual meaning?

I grow Sunflowers as part of my worship of the Masculine aspects of nature. Sun Flowers are a powerful species. They take what they need. They will displace other plants. They are dominant, and as far as plants go kind of forceful and maybe that is why you don't like them. They are unapologetic. Th...

Re: Low Energy

I need to first learn how to obtain energy (aside from other people). Second, with enough energy, learn to fight off energy leeches. Any herbs or stones are helpful, but I would like to know of any specific meditations I should do for the former, and then the latter. I practice void meditation and ...

Re: Healing my lemontree

You know about "winter oil"? It's an emulsion of oil that covers plants drying eggs deposited thereon preventing spring hatch. Use it when lemons are yellow. If you post some pictures I can help some more. Plants that are slightly susceptible to aphids will get them. I have to rinse and tr...

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity

Ooooo, I do like the idea of using crossroads and Hecate. We could make a bundle to bury at the crossroads, invoking Hecate to cut away the part we wish to let go of. :flyingwitch: Crossroads here, in Spain, have huge tradition. If you want to see "Santa Compaña", procession of the dead (...

Re: Hyssop, Valerian and magickal oils.

There is a Psalm which talks about Hyssop, and I've used it in this context: "Cleanse me with Hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow." Psalms 51:7 It worked better than I could have ever expected. That's very good, never heard about, thanks. I keep a bottle ...

Re: What do I do when saging doesn't work?

I think it's a negative spirit (no human), my pendulum shakes and jerks. If you can, get a mandrake root and put a piece in every room. Don't try to threaten it, will not help.

Re: Hyssop, Valerian and magickal oils.

I should say it's best that fresh herbs are used in herbal oil infusions. Tinctures (in alcohol) can also be good. Fresh herbs can spoil oils easily, and reduce alcohol percentage in tinctures. Better dried herbs for infused oils, tinctures works well with both, but fresh herbs reduces alcohol, so ...

Re: Old World Witchcraft Blog: Simple & Easy Banishing Ritua

Also to air out the house. :P It can get quite smoky in enclosed spaces when using sage. Of course. . Sage always smells similar to weed to me. I feel like going outside after I sage the house and saying to neighbors, "It's...it's not what you think. Really. No, really, it's not...." Lol ...

Re: Old World Witchcraft Blog: Simple & Easy Banishing Ritua

Sage always works well in banishes. If you have, you can add some rosemary. When I want to clean a room or a house, first "cut" the negative energy using your hand as a blade from center of room in every corner, floor and roof too. Repeat in each room and then pass the smudge stick. Always...

Re: Positive aspects of being a Pagan?

The thing about Witchcraft is that it can help a lot of people mentally and emotionally. It's sort of a psychological medicine to some. With the constant thought of karma (as mentioned above) one always wants to put good things into the world to make sure nothing negative comes in their own directi...

Re: Bubbling Cauldron: Monthly Spellcrafting Activity

Do you any ritual we could perform at the beginning of the ceremony to call upon the presence of the spirits of the ancestors, relatives, friends, etc? I have a little trick to call spirits, just take dandelion root, cut it into small chips and toast them in a pan. When you are ready to call spirit...
