Do tell us how it is! I've never heard of the book before now but I'm always interested to hear people's thoughts on books.

The Witch's Bible is for free if that makes any difference. The latest editions are where you begin to pay money but they all contain the same information. =3

Re: Anti-Self Doubt Spell [Request]

I agree with everyone on this and the old fashioned way would help out. It sounds more like some anxiety than anything. A lot of my friends have the same problem and start doubting themselves. While this isn't a spell, perhaps these stones can work? It's in a Tumblr post you can sift through. It's n...

Re: Can someone help me get started? Thanks

If you're looking more into Wicca then Scott Cunningham, Doreen Valiente, Janet Farrar, and Stewart Farrar's books are the best ones to look at. I can recommend some books for you that I started on: A Solitary Practitioner - Scott Cunningham Drawing Down The Moon -Margot Adler A Witch's Bible - Jane...

Re: What are you reading?

I look forward to that "more informative review." :) You can start a new thread on it in the book reviews section whenever you're ready (I'm trying to make book reviews a thing so we can set up something of a database for members to refer to if they're looking for new reading material). I...

Re: What are you reading?

How are you finding the Faery book by Alexander? I've been eyeing that one, and her mermaid book, for awhile now. As for fictional books on the Fae, I've recently fallen in love with Holly Black's Trilogy Tithe, Valiant and Ironside. Dreaming the Dark - Starhawk So far, it's interesting and informa...

Re: What is Your Element

According to the western zodiac, I'm fire and the Chinese astrology says I'm earth.

I say I resonate with all the elements, fire and earth being the strongest, water more of a neutral, and air being my weakest. That's if I stick with the four elements vice the seven.

Thank you Seraphin for this list! I never realised there were terms for a lot of abilities. It's very educational!

I'd like to find good fictional books on the fae. Preferably with a good story, romance maybe? Lol Any recommendations?

Re: General questions about divination

Greetings! I started out dabbling in scrying with a black mirror that I made myself. I moved away from that when I didn't feel like it clicked with me. I've tried using a pendulum. I own a quartz crystal one that I love. It can turn into a bracelet but I keep it in a pouch in my purse. It's fun to d...

Thank you for the information! Do you mind adding the lesser known stones to your list? Can never be too careful. *^_^*

Re: Circle Casting Question

Hello! Casting a circle comes down to how elaborate you want to make things. It's personal preference and what you feel is best for your purpose. I know a lot of books from Wicca overwhelm you with highly elaborate rituals and tools that you 'need' to have to do this or that. You really don't. If it...

Offerings

I feel like this can be seen as a stupid question but I've been told so many different things. I know offerings are made on altars and during rituals, etc. What do you do with those offerings afterwards? Especially with food and/or drink? I've been told these offerings are more for its spiritual bit...
