Yes. I won't be able to do anything outdoors since Hurricane Sandy is headed here. Last year it snowed on my birthday [October 29th] and this year we get a hurricane. Blech. I am still planning to do an light candles and do a small ritual indoors on the 29th and the 31st.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I am thinking of having a dumb supper. I am also planning to do a ritual on the 29th and on the 30th, lighting candles and incense. Then later that night I plan to honor the deities and my ancestors.

I was raised Jewish. After having my Bat Mitzvah I decided I no longer wanted to go to temple anymore. Basically the only Jewish holiday I really like celebrating now is Hanukkah. My patron God is Set. I was just wondering if anyone else feels a connection to him. Or am I the only one here who is fascinated by Set?

I was just wondering does anyone else here feel a strong connection to the Morrigan? I don't consider her my Goddess but I am fascinated by her. I feel drawn to her for some reason.

Thank you. I feel very connected to the Egyptian Gods/Goddesses. My main God is Set. I have also felt a calling from Anubis. The Goddesses I am drawn to are Sekhmet and Bast.

Everyone has such beautiful altars. I don't have one yet. Although, I was using the brick fireplace in my house as one.

If you are chosen by a God/Goddess, I guess you would feel drawn to them. Set,[my main God] didn't really give me a choice. There are other deities that I connect to from different pantheons. I am really interested in Morrigan [Celtic]. Also I am drawn to Loki and other Norse deities.

The pantheons I'm drawn to are the Egyptian [Set, Sekhmet, Bast, Anubis] and Norse [Freya, Thor, Odin, Loki]. Then I also feel close to Morrigan [Celtic] and some of the Greek Gods. I think Hades and Zeus, Poseidon are awesome. My main God is Set [Egyptian]. I'm being pulled in all directions.
