lol - I did a pratice this morning and it's definately easier with a plant ... it's not taking me so long to 'get it' in the first place now

This is the method I tend to use as well although I don't really use it for if someones having a bad day. Then I kinda figure they don't really deserve any more - lol. I've got to say I'm definately guilty of sending back negative energy when someone is being deliberately bitchy for no other reason ...

yay so I have an orchid - do you reckon that'll be suitable or do you think it'll be easier to begin with something less flowery with cleaner lines ?

I've used a protection spell where the poppett was made from sage [sort of like a smudge stick] which worked really well
As far as I know there isn't anything 'taboo' but some materials may work better for some things than others
