Re: Spell/ritual interrupted, and your beliefs on it
My husband used to have a very bad habit of wandering in on me when I was conducting a ritual to see what I was doing. A lot of it was just him being curious, but he really didn't understand the concept of creating a sacred space. Once he walked right through my circle during the middle of a pretty ...

Re: Mystie - My Husband Is Christain - I'm Not
Firstly, I want to say that I empathize greatly with what you're going through, and I hope that things start getting better for both of you soon. Love and light to you. Your story resonates with me, I think because I'm also married to a person of differing spiritual beliefs. My husband and I were ra...

I really like that method, Ivy, it makes me want to experiment.
I've always favored the World Tree spread myself.

Re: What does the fox say?
I saw a red fox and her two kits cross the road about a month ago. It was a super rare and awesome sight! :) I've always felt that my baby sister has a little bit of the fox in her. She's very impish and clever, and the gods know, the girl is quick as a whip with her wit. On the flip side of that, s...

Re: Nightmare
Off the top of my head, it sounds to me like you were getting comfort from an unconventional source. And I think that you were looking for some kind of reassurance. If your parents, in the dream, thought of you as a spirit, then it makes sense that they would seek to help you pass on, but you percei...

Re: Why no talk of demons?
Can you define what you mean by demon? goodnevil Yep. I mean demon. Azoth, neither I nor any of the other moderators are interested in splitting hairs with you. While the amount of thought you've put into your post is appreciated, this is not up for debate (a decision not made by myself or other mo...

Re: Why no talk of demons?
Hello Azoth, We here at EUTM prefer not to have demons being discussed on the board because, in our experience, it attracts negative energy to the forum, AND the kind of crowd we would really rather not have here. If you want to have discussion about them, there are other boards that would welcome it.

Re: Need recommendation hedge/green/fae witchery
Out of the ones listed, Ann Moura's books on Green Witchcraft would be my number one recommendation, if you're looking for something with less of a 101 vibe. I agree with Myrth, though, Ellen Dugan has AMAZING books and is very enjoyable as an author.

Re: Need recommendation hedge/green/fae witchery
If you're interested in green witchcract, I highly recommend looking at Ann Moura's books of the same title (Green Witchcraft, volumes 1-3). She also has a fantastic grimoire available. What I like most about her books is that she delves deeply into her interpretation of green or hedge witchcraft. S...

Re: How to use this info.
Others may use that information differently, but when I'm putting together a spell or a ritual, I use elemental correspondences to help myself coordinate what I'm going to be using for what purpose. Going with your example, knowing that Earth represents the physical and the five senses is useful inf...

Re: Norse Deities?
Hey there creativemind243, If you're really interested in the myths about the Norse gods, I'd highly suggest reading the Poetic Edda, which is a collection of sagas and stories. Here's a site that's a great resource with a lot of good information and further research links. If you have any specific ...

Re: Questions on runes
Is there a specific set of runes that you'd like to know more about or set of two? There is a ton of information out there on the more popular alphabets, such as the Elder Futhark or the witch's runes. A quick google search turned up a staggering amount of hits.
