Re: Spirit Guides

Alright, so I've done my part on this (research...oh the research), but I still need help. How does one find their spirit guide. I know my spirit animal and from what I've read they are two different things, but sometimes they're considered as one by some. I feel like they are different and I don't...

Re: Love Spell

I think this is amazing advice, but I'd also like to add that love is an untameable (is that a word?) and unpredictable. And you can not control it or force its hand. Perhaps, and I advise you not too, you might somewhere find an attraction ritual or something of the like, but honestly, as snow sai...

Re: Finding My Faith

I also thought about Shamanism, but I was told that there has to be a calling for that. Different teachers will tell you different things. Shamanism is very tribal in nature, very raw and taps in to primitive man's relationship with nature. Just like any spiritual position of leadership or mentorsh...

Re: Where Do I Even Start??..

Thanks for your unique advice, Dphoenix! :) I can be kind of creative and good at crafts when I really sit down and try. Doing some sort of craft in relation to my studies sound like a wonderful time to do thinking and reflecting about why I'm doing what I am. I'll look into it and try it sometime ...

Re: Wicca and depression

Someting else that has helped is preparing a reward or ritual for the nighttime only. It is important that you only do this activity at night. For example, reading a cliffhanger book with some favorite dessert. If you leave something enjoyable to only do at night, you might start looking forwars to...

Re: Blessed water

I'm of the opinion that it's the caster's focus and strength of will that makes such things work. What resonates with you? What do you feel more comfortable doing? That's what you should do. The tools you use are like gasoline but you are the one driving the car.

Re: What Do You Do With A Food Offering Afterwards?

It's the symbolism of the offering that matters. What you do with the food is up to you. If the food is inside I leave it out over night and throw it away in the morning. If it's outside I leave it there. Again, it's up to you and how you feel it should be done. Hope that helps. Good luck & godd...

Re: What would you call this?

Hello, everyone! So, although I am still following the Wiccan path, I have also recently been researching Druidry, and as well as the Ancient Egyptian pantheon too. I feel like that the more I grow as a Pagan, the more branches I tend to research and follow. I think one of the big things that I hav...

Re: Altars?

Exactly. I can't count how many times that one of the biggest regret long-time practitioners say is how they wished they had known beforehand that they didn't need, and probably would never use, over half of what they actually purchased in the very beginning because some book told them they "n...

Re: Tools of the Trade

Athames Tool info... Athames are ritual knives or daggers [*]They are to be used strictly for spell casting purposes; however, a boline is a knife used for magickal crafting purposes. [*]Due to it's elongated shape, it is considered a phallic symbol of masculinity and represents the God. [*]Some Wit...

Re: Essential oils vs Fragrance oils

These last few years I've been getting more into herbs and oils (I used to only work with crystals). I've been wanting to sell essential oils but like you said, they are EXPENSIVE! I've noticed significant differences in prices depending what country the oils originate from (Such as German Chamomile...

Re: Altars?

I just want to add a little tidbit, regarding the area of saving money and space. Depending on your practice and your unique path, you may not need all the pieces of an altar that a lot of the New Age books say you do. Maybe walk your path a bit to get a feel for the pieces that you actually need/w...

Re: Omen of amphibians carcasses?

Different magickal traditions have different correspondences. could be a sign to pay better attention to you health. They're sacred to Hecate so it might be she's trying to get your attention for something. They were also sacred to Venus, could be that the love you have for someone or something is d...
