Re: First Book of Shadows
I settled on this for my first one. I didn’t have much money and didn’t want to buy something expensive without seeing it first hand. Will post pics when it arrives.

Re: First Book of Shadows
Good going Silas Nightfall! I am also new to "Book of Shadows" and am wondering what would be a good one to start with. Thus far, I have made up my own. I’m thinking about something like this. Leather bound and refillable. https://www.google.com/shopping/product/1?q=refillable+leather+boo...

I suspected as much. Many thanks!SpiritTalker wrote:If it helps weigh the pros & cons, I personally learn best through my own efforts in experimenting & observation. Plus i'd wanted a record of what I actually figured out instead of a text book. I have the time to sit & write. So long-hand works for me.

I've been registered here for a while, but was never active. COMING IN HOT. My internet name is Nuri, that's what everybody calls me. I started following this spiritual path back in middle school, but kind of shoved it back onto the back burner since my father is the religious type, practice was ab...

First Book of Shadows
I am going to get my first physical Book of Shadows this weekend. There are many on etsy that I like. Both blank and prewritten. Personally, I like spells I write myself, but was wondering if getting a prewritten one to start would be better for learning purposes?

Re: Dual use altars?
Some people put up and take their altars down on a daily basis. Before I got my table, I was using the unoccupied side of my L shaped desk as an altar. All I had to do was turn my chair 45 degrees and my altar was there, turn my chair back 45 degrees, and I was facing my computer. As long as your s...

Re: Why should I cast a spell?
Hi Guys I've been struggling with the why of spell casting, as in what's the point? I don't have any physical needs. I have a home, a job, good friends. I need nothing. My only problems are down to me being lazy or undisciplined which I don't feel a spell is for. Basically I'm confused about magic....

Re: An Announcement!
Thanks for the info! I guess I have been doing a lot of focusing and raising my vibration level to a higher frequency. I use meditation daily and such. I do need to work on casting circles and figure out some rituals. I have been using salt around the house for years, but didn't know it was related...

Re: An Announcement!
Merry meet all! Say, I have an announcement , I've decided to dedicate the rest of my life to this Path, so I'm marking it here, and wanting everyone know that I will start my "year and day" today! I have put much thought into this and was not ever going to commit to any "religion&qu...

Re: I Made My Runes, Now What?
Silas Nightfall, how do I make moon water? Thanks! Different sources cite slightly different methods, but the basics are to place water in a clear jar, or in a pan, and let it bath in the moonlight so that the moons reflection casts directly upon it (no intervening shadows). Ask more knowledgeable ...
