Re: How do you make oils?

I think Sunflower oil can be a good base oil, it have almost no scent at all and allergies occur rarely. Maybe it is an option for you Loona. :) PS: I never made essential oils, so I'm not sure if this oil is effective for this use :anxious: I'm not making essential oils. I dont have the materials ...

Re: How do you make oils?

I was going to use almond oil as my base oil, but there are far to many people allergic to nuts that I dont want to risk using that, especially since they are going to be sold or given as gifts. I was wondering what you would consider a good base oil aside from almond oil? Edit: I have been told tha...

Re: Low Budget Witchcraft...Any Suggestions?

As for tools why not use something you already have? A besom could be your house broom. Athames can be letter openers. Wands can come from trees in your yard or in the area. Your chalice could be a regular cup that gets consecrated with use. I wouldn't focus on the tools so much as I would what you ...

Re: Where Do I Start?

That's a difficult question, what appeals to me...the spirituality of it, the affinity with nature and elements, its tradition, but I'm a Christian, I like to describe myself as a new age catholic, I believe in God, but not everything taught to us in the bible. You can be a witch and be Christian. ...

Triumph of the Moon is Good as is Stations of the Sun. Both of those cover history of witchcraft and paganism from an academic/anthropological aspect.

Every one has some spiritual gift. Some are empaths and some have other gifts like a strong ability to channel and physically seeing spirits and spirit energy. We can all learn most skills and abilities, but we all have our own strengths. As for where to start in Wicca, let me ask you this: What dre...

Ah yes I do understand that! Sometimes when I look back at it now there are some things I don't agree with, but I do like some of her other stuff. I pick and choose :D When it came to the magical aspects (like the correspondances) and the like she was amazing. The spells and rituals were very usefu...

Re: The books you couldn't live without!

Oh fascinating! I see a lot of people avoid Silver Ravenwolf although one of my first books was by her and I still reference it today. Progressive Witchcraft is one of my favourites at the moment. Took me a while to get my head around it though :D She was my first author as well. However after read...

Re: The books you couldn't live without!

Sorry I wasn't more specific! :D I suppose I was talking about a broad spectrum. So much is done on the internet these days, but I just adore the feel of a real book! loveface I'm with you on that. Its actually easier for me to list authors I avoid or wouldn't recommended than it is books I couldn'...

Re: Casting first spell

I also want to see auras That I don't know how to help you with as I have always been able to see auras. Not everyone has the same gifts or ways of knowing spiritually. Some see with their psychic eyes, others feel, some can smell things. We all need to find out how we individually experience messa...
