Re: cusps!

My B-day is on the 24th of November, which isn't exactly on the cusp. Sagittarius starts on the 22nd. However I have always had really pretty strong influences from Scorpio. My friend who does sidereal astrology insists i'm Scorpio, but my strong desire to seek make me very Sagittariun. I think ever...

Re: What exactly is the point of grounding?

Ya know, Air...I would also like to point out that during the cakes n' ale portion of your ritual, which is generally held towards the end of your ceremony, is also grounding. Whenever you take in food it brings you back into your body, and that grounds and centers you back into your body. Following...

Re: 2012:The End? or the beginning?

The Mayans arn't the only ones with a "shift" occurring on that day, the I ching as interpreted by Terence McKenna, and the Hopi peoples also look to that day as the "end". But, as was pointed out in the many other posts here, It is a shift,... into what remains to be seen. It is...

Re: Advice on my situation

I'm sorry I can't recommend a manipulative spell. Are you sure this person isn't maybe, married? and that's why they back out? You could light a candle for some insight to the situation, and have you asked this person why they are backing out? I hope it works out or you whatever happens. Blessings, ...

Re: contacting a cat

Are you sure she is in the house? I hope Dad isn't involved in the disappearance... A vet check is a good idea, but most male cats, fixed or not are going to spray, females and males might pee on stuff if they are mad at you, or maybe they just never learned to use the cat-box properly. Good Luck, F...

Re: Smoking Herbs

Hi guys, this is not to condone, but I have smoked sage, mullen, horehound, yerba santa, and mugwort in a mix that was for, of all things...congestion. It worked pretty good. There are may other things you can "smoke" but none of them are really in excess like one would say, smoke a cigare...

Re: spell advice

when asking for help, (never) phrase a chant, or wish, or spell with the word "no" in any form. Like "I can't have this agitation in my house" ( the word can't is a contraction of 'no') no, no's! does this make sense? BB, Firebird

Re: Dedication

In our tradition, a "dedicant" is brought in at Imbolc. It is part of our Imbolc celebration. The dedication is a ritual within a ritual, and the potential "trainee" dedicates to; the Goddess and her God, to the group, and to people as a whole. You could do this as a solitaire, j...

Re: spell advice

What exactly is it that she is mad at? Staying out all night, smokin' pot, or that you had a visual experience that opened you to spirit? First, do not work magick to change her feelings, she is entitled to them, not to mention it is manipulative. You might light a candle that would shine upon on th...

Re: What exactly is the point of grounding?

Grounding is best done barefooted. When you are well grounded to the earth you are also more capable of sending magickal energy out. Think of it like you are the "conduit" to the above and the below. You are that which is in the "tween" space. When we raise a cone of power, we do...

Re: Some Tips on Starting a Coven

In my group the hierarchical order is what determines the core group and ultimately the "Council". The order is more of a stepping stone system to ordination. It thus far hasn't created any jealousy or other riffs, is does point out that these people are on a path, and it takes 3+ years to...

Have you seen the Morphing Black Holes???

Hi folks, I have had an experience several times on the hike out to our ritual hill. As I stroll along the path, I can see definite shadows, black spaces, that you can't see through, with irregular shapes and edges. They tend to hang about three feet or higher from the ground, and their shape change...

Re: do you squash bugs?

oh flowers, we would all love to gently remove the little invaders and say no no, now you belong over here....eeeh eh hem, we do what we can to let the outside critters do their own food chain, but I think i'm with Sym when it comes to the little buggers coming into the house, I do forewarn them, th...
