Re: Bad premonition or just random dream?

I personally would feel concerned. Have you had premonitions in dreams before?

Dark Scrying Mirrors

I made a dark scrying mirror years ago and have not had much success with it. It is flat and I have never found the right lighting. Do you think it would be wise to use a concave mirror instead? Does anyone have any scrying tips or stories to share? I've had more success with a regular mirror in dim...

Re: About Coven

I practiced solitary for about fifteen years before joining a coven. I learned a lot from the coven about group rituals. I learned about aspecting, calling quarters, ritual space and set up, and working with others. I still have the highest respect for my High Priestess who moved away. That being sa...

Re: Tarot spells

I have dedicated certain decks to magical purposes only. At times I have even burned cards. My other decks are for divination and meditation. Tarot cards are great for acquisition or letting go/banishing depending on the lunar energies. They are an excellent visual tool. Major Arcana cards can also ...

Re: Spell questions

Personally I love fire magic but I usually burn things when the Moon is in a fire sign. I recently did a spell that involved earth and water magic but I am waiting until the Moon is in Leo to burn the wishes I wrote down. I am also going to bury the contents of the spell during the Full Moon in Virg...

Re: Digital Book of Shadows

I keep much of my info in a folder in my gmail. This way, if my computer crashes, I still have it and can access it anywhere. I also dig the idea of having online and offline books. I type really fast though so that lends me to keep a lot of info online. If I were to create a new B.O.S. I would prob...

Re: Where do I buy supplies?

Watch out for shipping costs when buying online. Some of the shipping costs can be twice or more the amount of the product. Sometimes, when buying a designated larger amount of merchandise you can get free shipping. I wish all shipping was free!

Re: how to tell if a tarot reader full of bs?

Anyone who says they want to remove a curse for money is a scammer. This is actually VERY common. Some will tell you you have a generational curse too. I believe there are con artists and then there are legitimate readers/psychics. I've gone to fairs/festivals (that were not just for psychic readers...

Re: Advice Please

I also have not read those books. I think Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis is a good book especially if you have the Robin Wood deck. I also think reading the books that correspond with your deck is great. Also it is good to make a tarot journal with your deck, writing down your personal asso...

Re: help how to start

I highly recommend two books: The Outer Temple of Witchcraft and The Inner Temple of Witchcraft, both by Christopher Penczack! Is there anything particular about Wicca that you want to know? Are there any Gods/Goddesses that you are drawn to? What about the path makes you drawn to it? For me I knew ...

Re: Hello All

Thanks to everyone for the welcoming! Bran - Thanks for writing to a fellow newbie. How did you come up with your name Bran Th' Blessed? I do enjoy the kitty trying to catch the butterfly - I am a huge cat lover. I am also interested in dream interpretation. I love learning about what dreams mean an...

Re: Asrology: Past, Present and Future Readings

Just wanted to add that sometimes you want a quick question answered with a yes, no, or maybe. You can use a pendulum for that. You can also use tarot by assigning YES to two elements (I use wands/cups) and NO to two elements (I use swords/pentacles). Major Arcana can stand for MAYBE.
