I am wishing now, that I'd bought at least a couple of the gemstone chokers...they were real nice and fancy.

But, I was thinking necklace, is larger, get more stones. It is a shame, I never have seen such nice chokers before...now don't have even one! :o

Navajo made necklaces, from vacation at the Sonoran Desert

A Navajo by the name of Rocky, had a blanket there and making necklaces. I used my gallery at MyTribalSpace to upload the photos...here are some to look at, have heavy duty wire, so they won't break. Yes, it is my car...but a truck would have been much better for in the desert. It is a Pontiac Grand Prix, too low for so many of the 4WD roads.

I'm learning about an astalian tribe who devines for water by using their hands. Much more simple :) They also use their hands over plants before they pick them to find the tubers which are ready to be picked and which ones still need time to grow. Their connection to mother earth is amazing. My lo...

Nice, Sounds pretty neat. I need to get some of them :) Thanks Cherokee! I've found that it helps to work with the rods, right at home first, before other places. Get the feel of them. I placed in desk and drawers, boxes on shelves, things I might like to find (gold and silver jewelry, coins, gemst...

I must be slow but i just dont understand this. I dont get how the rods cross or recognise when they hit water or a metal.... what are they made out of? :/ seems so simple that i might be missing something. L rods are just metal rods shaped like L's right? and you just stick em in the ground and th...

I had a chance to use my L-rods, last Oct/Nov in Arizona. The above methods work inside a building and where you know what direction you're moving. In a desert, outback, or any wilderness, there are some better ways to dowse. They are more advanced techniques, like parallel rods close together, equa...

Sonoran Desert

Last 2 weeks of October and first part of November 2009, went to the Southwest for a vacation. The weather was beautiful, the songbirds would sing in the evening. http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh216/Lone4eagle/AZ_Cactus/cactusclaim2.jpg Cactus grow large, provide nesting holes for birds. http:/...

Re: How to consecrate a runestone set?

I have recently acquired a nice set of runestones, and I was wondering if there are any ways I could consecrate them. I haven't really heard of people consecrating runes before, though I suppose you could right? This is a frequently asked question...without spending time going through past threads ...

How do you like my new pendulum? It is actually a 4.5 troy pennyweight gold nugget plus a small emerald, 14K gold rope chain necklace...but it has good action for pendulum use. Got this while on vacation to the desert southwest last October/November. Had to get away for a time and be close to nature...

Hmm interested. I never cleansed mine. How do you do that? I just blessed them and started using them. How do you cleanse and what is the reason for cleansing? Thanks. Oh, I wouldn't cleanse it now...it might remove the blessing. Cleansing is more important when you don't plan on blessing it...I do...

I've had one Native American tell me they are called "Dream stones" and are used to control dreams, much like a dream catcher. :D

I went to a shop where they sell crystals and pendulums and such, and the lady that worked there said that picking the right pendulum for yourself was very important. When I used my pendulum at home I couldnt get a clearly distinct motion for "yes", "no", and "I don't know&...
