Re: Struggling so hard to get out from my body

I used to experience the same thing, feeling weird, lightheaded and physically exhausted after an out of body experience. That's why I didn't do it very often, because it left me feeling wiped out for the rest of the day, like it drained a lot of my energy. This started to go away over time, becomin...

Re: Some quick advice

All things magical, from spells to creatures and spirit entities, should be taken seriously. This isn't a game, this isn't like the books and movies. Research is important. Learn and study things beforehand. Use common sense. And if something seems risky, possibly dangerous, or if you aren't sure ab...

Re: Struggling so hard to get out from my body

I usually do things differently, combining astral travel with astral shifting because of my therianthropy. I find it easier to have an out of body experience when I'm in animal form instead of human form. But the one thing that always helps regardless of what form I'm in is moving one part of my ast...

Re: Where are the Robins this year?

That's a neat website. I didn't know what kind of blue bird we have. We've always just called them blue birds without being specific. But now I know they're called scrub jays.

Always good to learn something new. 😊

Re: Where are the Robins this year?

I was wondering the same about the Jay birds, kinda miss their noisy entry into the yard. There's an overabundance of blue jays at my house. We always have them, but this year they've been having more babies than usual. These past few months I keep seeing a male and female with their two babies on ...

Re: What can I concoct with Rose Hips?

This is a recipe for rose hip soup taken from Jude's Herbal Home Remedies by Jude C. Todd. Cover two cups of rose hips with two cups of water and simmer for two hours until rose hips are tender. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of sugar with two tablespoons of cornstarch. Add this to the rose hip sou...

The skies are clear and I've tried looking for it but I haven't found it yet. Going to give it another try this evening.

Re: Sniffles My Dog

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing an animal friend is never easy, especially once they become part of the family. But I'm sure you'll be reunited with him one day. And on the other side, he will know so much peace, waiting patiently for the day he sees you again.

Re: For Burns

One thing I found that works good on burns is applebutter. I read about this in one of my books on natural remedies, and tried it after a minor burn in the kitchen. Turns out the applebutter takes the redness out and helps with the pain and swelling. You just dab a little bit on like a paste and lea...

Harvesting Thyme

I think the majority of us have, at one time or another, struggled with removing leaves from thyme plants. The leaves are tiny, and the entire process is so tedious that I often joke about it with my mate, calling the whole thing "thyme consuming". Currently, I have some thyme in my garden...

Re: Witches and hair color?

I've never heard of this either. Though I suppose people with brightly colored hair, or people with their hair dyed black, could be accused of many things, not just witchcraft. It's sort of like the idea that people with black hair who dress a certain way could be considered a witch, a punk or a got...

Re: Making your own spells.

I was in the same situation years ago when I first started. I am a self taught solitary, and for a while I had very little in terms of reading material in order to learn. I actually tried looking for spellbooks at the library. Obviously that didn't work out very well. But one thing I can tell you is...

Re: Staying Safe

The only sure way of staying safe would be a full hazmat suit. And yet again, there are no guarantees in life... The only guaranteed fact is that one day, we're all going to die, one way or another and that's just life. On that day, how many will remember all the hogwash about staying safe? Will it...

Re: Staying Safe

I'm tired of it, too. It's like everywhere I go on forums I see several people all repeating the "stay safe" mantra. And yes, it is generic and childish. And it didn't help me one bit anyway. I wore a mask and gloves when I went out shopping. I did my part to "stay safe". But I s...

Re: Calling rain

Rain spells aren't my area of expertise. Far from it, seeing as how my element is fire. But I have had success working with dragons and bunyips when I needed some rain. If your drought persists, and you'd like some help in the future, I can ask the pair of water dragons that I work with for some ass...
