Re: Move Over!

I try to be here when I can. Merry meet by the way, I really liked one of your posts but renounced on replying since you seemed to be gone. I hope you will be around when I'll retrace it somehow one day. Japanese culture huh? I've seen this study on Japanese exorcism but can't retrace it. It claime...

Re: Where do you buy your supplies?

I usually shop locally or go to nature, more natural urban areas for flowers, plants, twigs for tools etc. The last online purchase I made was for an amythest chunk. I mostly go online for my more precious stones. Otherwise it is natural local stones that call to me from the ground. I go to the loca...

Move Over!

I have been working with two deity spirits. A nameless God I feel strongly locally, and a folklore legend in Japan taira no masakado. Recently I was called to a God through an image. The image was of green, yellow, and red incense wrapped in white cloth. I found a deity that is described as having t...

Re: Heritage & Magic

I use natural herbs and wildflowers close by for a lot of my work. One would call it Maine Witchcraft. May I ask what the environment is like in your area? I'm trying to do this to some degree, but my area is very urban/suburban so I'm struggling to find things that haven't been imported and cultiv...

Re: Heritage & Magic

If you trace my heritage back you get Romani and english, also Scottish.

I am not into Celtic magic.

The best way I can answer is that I base my practice of my craft off my current area of land. I use natural herbs and wildflowers close by for a lot of my work. One would call it Maine Witchcraft.

Re: How do you use magick in your every day life?

I thought of something else. I try to practice intuitive abilities daily, especially I get a lot more practice in when I offer readings for others. Also I am going to try and make it a once a month habit to take a relaxing bath with bubble bath and rose petals or other herbs. Next month I plan to ta...

Re: BOS

I am using big notebooks. They therefore are not very organized, but I don't mind. It is written how I write in it at the time based on what subject I am writing about. As far as subjects I write about the current one I am using has Romani Magic, Taoism, Moss Agate Properties, a black magic cake rec...

Re: How do you use magick in your every day life?

Hi. Things craft related I do daily: I keep some stones of mine in my purse. Seaglass and coal. I have a clutch I have a small pouch attached to containing a St. Benedict's Medal and seashells. I have another clutch I have a small mirror with a hole in the handle attached to with a chain and the mir...

Re: New Necklace

Thanks both of you for helping me to be aware regards my avatar. Appreciate it. I am really happy about this necklace, it actually turns out the energy I was sensing are the healing properties of the ammonite. I looked up the healing properties and they matched exactly what I've been feeling. Thanks...

New Necklace

This is a new necklace of mine with what I think are moss gate stones/beads and a half of an ammonite fossil. I love this necklace as I can feel the relaxing qualities of the agate and ammonite quite strongly. This necklace is going to be my main piece of pagan jewelry in my wardrobe for a while unt...

Re: Do you ever feel self-conscious about your beliefs?

Hi. As far as being self conscious with friends, I don't tend to offer information about my beliefs unless asked, my group of friends are pretty open minded in general. As for my family, whether or not they accept my beliefs, my mother seems very accepting as witchcraft sort of runs on her side of t...

Re: What's On Your Altar, & Why?

I am currently motel living with the majority of my things in storage so I have had to simplify what I keep as an altar. I am currently using a small birdcage containing some of my favorite stones, a tiny container of sea shells, a small owl incense plate as a place to set stones and sigils, a small...

Re: Did I do something bad?

Hi. There is a Buddhist idea within the 8 fold path I like to try and live my best to- which is right speech. It is just an ideal I like to think upon- to consider to try to better our world- environment. I practice witchcraft not Buddhism itself, but I much respect Buddhist ideas and thought. No. I...
