Re: A legit website for vessels

Unless by vessels here you're meaning dolls/fetishes currently housing a spirit? The word is a bit ambiguous, so clarity is nice. I personally wouldn't trust any seller I don't know on a personal level who sells vessels possessed of spirit.

Re: What crystal(s) have you been drawn to?

Aaah, amethyst has pretty much been my stone since I was very young. In middle school at some point, my class went panning at a quarry and I panned a lovely, semitransparent amethyst shard from the water. I've acquired a load of the gems between then and now, but I can always pick that first one out...

Re: A legit website for vessels

Seconding that. All my vessels/censers/offering saucers come from second hand stores. Unique finds, very affordable, and as good as any $40+ cauldron found online. Art crawls are also excellent places to find goods made with love and skill.

Re: Paganism/Druidry/Wicca Comparison Help

Paganism is an umbrella term which Wicca and Druidry both fall under. Wicca and Druidry are two different paths under the umbrella, along with innumerable others. Today's Wicca is often highly personalized, and practicioners of it sometimes include in their belief system practices and deities that r...

Re: How do you communicate with your Gods/Goddesses?

I don't have one method. Sometimes it's semi-formal prayer at His altar, sometimes it's casual chatter at the steering wheel. I choose to speak in tongues when the matter at hand is especially complicated, difficult, or moving. For the 'listening' half of communication...that comes to me largely thr...

Re: Alternative Element Systems

Haha, love it when topics crop back up like this...I was just contemplating elements earlier today. The elements I include are Fire, Air, Earth, Water, Metal, and Electricity. I don't include wood for the same reason I wouldn't include flesh as an element as the body of an organic life.

Re: Baphomet

Whether intentional on the part of the image's creator or not, Baphomet appears to me to be a map of the entity or idea of Lucifer. The representation makes literal many concepts wrapped up in the Morning Star, inclusive even of His 'Witchfather' aspect.

Re: Should I be worried?

I wouldn't be too worried about it. You got the results you were looking for out of your working, so it's a success, right? Chances are good that the candle fizzled out because of the water! Molecules move in mysterious ways~

Re: Fairies and adults?

Hum, I wager a person's experience and success with faerie relations depends a bit on how that person perceives them. To some, they're cutesy Tinker Bells and Company, and trees are dressed with glittery scarves in an attempt to please and attract the fey, and are (I assume) subsequently ignored. To...

Yeh, you're not alone. Some ideas simply fail to cross my threshold of belief, and much of this fits into that category. Oh well~

Re: What crystal or gemstone are you carrying/wearing today?

This week's been all about self maintenance and clearing out the nasty that's been clinging onto my shadow lately... I wore a particularly prickly jet pendant today, and not a soul at work spoke to me beyond necessity. It was just the breath of fresh air I needed.

Re: Witchcraft is So Confusing! :(

Yeah, I feel you, Oddball. When I was just getting my feet wet, I thought hedgecrossing was a great starting point because I was so miserably ambitious, hurhur. I had to stomach a bunch of humble pie after a whole lot of nothing happening, and reroute back to the basics....I hadn't even really sketc...

Re: Ways to celebrate Mabon with my non pagan family?

In less of a festive light, Mabon is also a fine time for paying respects to the dead as the hemisphere shifts into the darker half of the year. If your folks aren't opposed, it could be a good time to take a quiet moment with your little ones to visit a family plot if there is one, or to light a ca...

Re: Need a second opinion on possible 'signs'

Ye, signs or no signs, I feel that if you have a strong interest and leaning in a direction spiritually...just go for it. You don't have to overthink it as some great fated thing written in the stars, and though the community can be a bit divided on the matter of gods choosing people vs people choos...
