Bb, Firebird Thanks! It's good to be back. After some more research, there is a lot of debate over w...

Secular Witch looking for some extra guidance
Hello all, haven't posted in years, but I'm getting back into my craft and I have some questions. I'm pretty much a secular witch, I don't call on any Gods or Goddesses when I do my work, but I did feel a slight pull to the Baltic Goddess Ragana. I don't have any Baltic heritage, but I couldn't find...

Excellent thread, thank you! This is something I've been struggling with in my own path, I'll be sure to check out those resources so I can grow in my connection to the Lady and Lord.

Re: What Are Your Opinions on Silver RavenWolf's Books?
My biggest problem with SWR is that she wrote an entire book on hedgecraft that has absolutely nothing to do with hedgecraft. It's one thing to say, oh, it's her opinion or whatever, but if one is going to be claiming to write about a particular tradition then, you know, they need to do that. It's ...

Re: Trans Bodies in Wicca
Hello all! I see that there was a post a couple years ago about genderization in Wicca and as a trans guy I have, obviously, struggled with this myself. There are some great links in there if you're looking for some good reading to help expand your understanding of the Lord and Lady or Wicca in gene...

Re: Hummingbird's Book of Shadows
hummingbird, that's a really good way to balance things! When you shift the focus from yourself, life gets a lot easier, especially in the case of anxiety. Shifting the focus away from myself has even helped me care for myself. Before I would fail to take care of myself because I was focused on nega...

Re: Let's talk about reincarnation!
1. Well, I believe like Heartsong, that "souls" are just concentrated bits of energy, so when you die that energy is simply returned. It could become anything. Likely plants. I don't think our energy stays together, though. I'd imagine it would disperse. 2. Again, souls are just bits of en...

Based on the exterior and the pattern on the inside, I would say it looks like a hunk of petrified wood.

If it's in a cemetery, could be someone buried there. Any graves near the shed that could give you a clue? Maybe a gentle old man missing his grandchildren.

Re: Inside BW's hectic mind
BW I lost my pentacle a while ago, too. I was so upset. Never did find it, but thankfully the necklace originally had two stars on it and I had hidden the second away, so I had a second to wear instead. Hope you find yours.

Re: Witches Ladder
Oh that's interesting firebird, I had no idea that was a magickal thing. When I was a kid I did those tricks too, but they were just fun games to play with string. Jacobs ladder might have come around with commercializing and marketing string games to Christian kids and families, or maybe it came up...
