Re: Does anyone follow any of the Egyptians Gods and Goddess

I would also like to add that sharing some of your favorite things with them is something that they seem to appreciate. I love oreos and I shared them with Thoth and he loved them. Also, I found if you give offerings that are based over something they are known to rule, then they are usually liked. ...

Re: Feeling upset with SOME fellow pagans

No I completely agree with you. The ones who act like their way is the best is what frustrates me so much! One of the major draws about this that I loved was that it is something that you modify so it works best for you. So when there are others who say, "No my way is the way to go." It in...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

It is easy to learn. You just take a class and get an attunement. I can look into it but there commonly aren't many things of that nature near me. The closest is Atlanta, Ga. The drive of two hours is not what worries me, rather what worries me is finding someone who is actually practiced in Reiki ...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

On a second thought, what might help you as well against anxiety and depression are relaxation methods, such as meditation, progressive muscle relaxation or Autogenic Training ( http://www.autogenictraining.org/what-is-autogenic-training ). Or try a guided meditation - there a plenty of those onlin...

Re: When meditation isn't enough

As someone who is living with anxiety, I understand this struggle. I like to use some breathing exercises. My personal preference is whenever I breathe in, I imagine a warm fire in my chest and it grows with each inhale. Then when I exhale I either imagine it shrinking or I imagine that I'm blowing ...

Re: Tarot vs oracle?

I use both, actually and find that they both have their strong points. Tarot can definitely be more detailed in paces and pull out a lot more. However, because I'm still learning (or even on cards that I know but give me trouble when I try to interpret them) sometimes I can get so wrapped up in the ...

Re: I'm sold...

Bought a Tarot deck and man, I'm sold. The cards I've drawn have been insanely on point. For repeated draws for the same questions they've been similar or the same. Heck, I started a spread, got interrupted to the point of starting over.. shuffled... same 3 cards I'd drawn already came out again. I...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

I'm sorry to here your home situation is so volatile. 8 years ago, I was in the exact same position when my dad remarried. My only additional suggestion is to make your room a sanctuary. I would frequently cast a "circle" that formed to the perimeter of my bedroom and banished all negativ...

Any spell to help with studying?

So I just started my Respiratory Therapy program and it is already extremely challenging on the third day. This is going to be a rough two years doing it. I, of course, am making a strong effort on my end to study and learn the material but I really want to tackle this armed as best as I can. So tha...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

As someone who has lived with depression and anxiety for a long time, I can understand what you are dealing with, and here are a few things that I find to be helpful. On the mundane side... 1. Pay attention to what triggers your anxiety and depression and try to avoid those triggers as much as poss...

Re: Poll: Are you an urban or countryside witch?

I live in a small town in the south of the US. Which is difficult to be a practicing witch. Honestly, its difficult to be practicing any kind of religion OTHER than Christianity. There are a lot of closed minded people (which I can't stand being around) alot of ignorance and putting it honestly, I d...
