Re: Why Do You Think Society Says Witchcraft is Bad?

Because some institutions say so... namely Religion and Mainstream Science. Admit or not, there is still an anti-magic current in both religious and scientific thought continued in this millennia, and is expressed most strongly by the authorities (priests, scientists, etc). Though most people accept...

Re: return to send spells

Try doing a mirror-box spell. This trick is different than hexing or cursing, because it reflects back, rather than originates, intentional or unintentional harmful thoughts, assaults and magick thrown against someone.

If you want to use mugwort for divination or psychic work, you could substitute wormwood, anise seeds, flax seeds or althea leaves or root.

Re: Am I Cursed? A Checklist for Testing Possible Maleficium

I wonder if anyone hear can help me with something? I went Sunday for a reading at this lady’s house. It was pretty accurate and she asked me to write my first and last name and birthdate along with someone else’s and what I wanted to happen. She then said she needed $800 to begin working on me, wh...

I'm back (I Hope)

Hey! Remember me, still? I apologize for my long absence here. Actually not just here but I was absent on Facebook too and some other online communities and social networking sites as well. A lot of online occult/pagan communities seem to have quieted down anyways so I did the same. Hahas. Most of t...

Re: Justice for a friend.

I am more than willing to assist you creating a justice prayer for your friend. But for us to start, may I know what do you mean by feminine spirits of justice? Are you referring to Deities of righteous judgment? This just confirms to your friend that a different kind and quality of justice indeed a...

Re: The pentagram

In addition to what Ethereal said, the five points of the upright pentagram symbolize the power of Spirit (the topmost point) is superior over the four Elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water (the material world). In this symbolism, it represents the belief of many Right Hand traditions in Spirit tra...

Re: Did this work?

I completely agree with others. We cannot guarantee your neighbor's complete healing and recovery but the good thing about magick is once you performed it with proper words, method, intent and sometimes correspondce, certainly it can give you spiritual and energetic support to overcome the pains of ...

Re: Witchy Ways to Establish Our Home as Protected Space

Interesting. I was put off by the masculine role for head of household though. Hiya Myrth! This is not a question of gender. It's about who is getting the role of the "husband" in the family. In Norse and Old English, one of the meanings of the word "husband" is someone who skil...

Re: Where do I start with my book of shadows?

I remember my first ever notebook of shadows, I made it sure to keep a careful balance between personal and relevant. Rather than being a diary of what I did, or what hocus pocus I just performed, or what pagan event I went to, I really wanted it to be useful. I wanted entries that serves a timeless...
