Re: I made my first wand!

For wire wrapping, I use copper wire of a smaller gauge to hold stones and gems in place on the wands I make. I can look through my supplies to find the exact gauge used if you would like?

Re: Witches in the media

I personally follow the same line of thinkins as Kat: "wicca is the religion and witchcraft is the practice". However, you will find some who say they are one and the same, and yet others who have several other versions of belief. My advice for you would be to ask questions of your own, no...

Re: Good news! And Third Eye nearly opened

By no means misread this as acceptance of violence, or encouragement of such; if what you mean by "personal gain" is closer to the act of allowing something such as this awakening of power, to enable you and others around you to more openly show the world as a whole that Wicca, Witta, Witc...

Re: Heard from the shadows...

No worries firebird, I didn't consider it too confrontational at all; I interpreted it more as curiosity from you.

I understand your skepticism from past altercations, especially since they involved certain other past members that compounded ongoing issues.

Re: Spell for Good Luck on Drivers Test?

I don't know one off the top of my head, but the best luck I have ever come across is belief in your own abilities. I was petrified when I went for my drivers test, even though I had been through drivers ed, had practiced on three different cars (manual and automatic both), and had literally hundred...

Re: Heard from the shadows...

Sounds like you have been busy! Where did you get ordained? It's really kind-of corny to think about, but you can get ordained online through the Church of Life.. Completely legitimate to do, and actually my current boss got ordained in the same manner, and has performed several completely legal/bi...

Re: Heard from the shadows...

I realized after posting that, that StarWitch does not have the forum set up quite the same as others, where it displays the gender you have stated in your profile, on the forum-facing side of your profile details, which I find odd that you can select, but it doesn't display anywhere, but hey, whate...

Heard from the shadows...

*creeps out of the shadows in the dead of night, and dusts off my favorite chair, covered in layers of dust* So, the past week or so I have been lurking a little bit, but I have finally "officially" returned to the forums. It's been one heck of a past few months, lemme tell ya.. So, as an ...

Welcome, welcome. From one firebird to another! Hope you enjoy the forums, I myself am just returning back here after a hiatus; there's just something about this place that draws you in, isn't there? There are alot of talented witches here; crafters, shopowners, and those who have been in the craft ...

Re: Ghost Hunt-tips, tricks, and stories

PhoenixFlight , just a quick question....Have you seen orbs without taking pictures of them? I had a "visitor" that was an orb of about 6" diameter, just floating behind me, and looked like what I call "heavy air". I've seen my Spirit being's outline in "heavy air"...

Re: dark arts

I was just reading the thread on what is a warlock to see if there are any dark connotations to those who call themselves warlocks or sorcerers. Technically, it means 'rulebreaker' in a sense.. I think that it would be good to cover here Meh, I don't think it would be, rezam... I agree with her on ...

Re: I'm making my first wand!

Cool! I miss my wand, it had rose quartz... it broke. I found one on Amazon I want but I think it is better to make your own! What kind of wood is that? Not necessarily. A wand is just another tool of the craft, and like all tools, it may not end up staying as yours forever. It IS more personal if ...
