Re: Using Law of Attraction to Boost Magick
When I have to explain spells to people who don't understand Wicca, I tell them it's like a much more focused way of using the law of attraction....because I feel LOA a huge component of a spell. I'm still new, but even after I've done a spell I continue to visualize exactly what I want the outcome ...

Re: Who do you think you were in a past life?
I was told by a couple different psychics that I was a very powerful high priestess in ancient Egypt. It didn't surprise me though because it was like I already knew that. I did a guided past life meditation once on my last life. My name was William and I was born very poor, somewhere around England...

Thanks for the tip firebird! I've been wanting to gather some sand from the beach, so that would be perfect!
Thanks Aria! I spent hours trying to figure out what I wanted on there and how to organize it! My wooden bowl with all my crystals threw me off a bit bc they have to be next to me lol

Re: Intelligent ancient Earthlings?/Humans?
I'm tired, so I didn't read all of everything, but I glanced over it all. It's very interesting! I haven't heard of pyramids under the sea, or the sea apes. I've heard of stone structures on the ocean floor though, I believe in the Bermuda Triangle. I'll have to read some more of this tomorrow for s...

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
I'm a parent myself, but I sort of agree with Xiao. Religion is a very personal choice, and as long as you are not hurting yourself or others, you should follow your true self. If it comes down to it, you can always say your a Christian Wiccan. It saddens me that your so afraid to tell her and you s...

Re: What Are Your Opinions on Silver RavenWolf's Books?
I found this book at the Salvation Army a few weeks ago, and out of all the Wicca books I've collected, this is one of them that I refer to the most. I have to say, though, that I haven't read the entire book....I tend to just skip around to read what I feel like reading, but it's got a lot of good ...

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
I can't keep Wicca from my mother any longer. Do any of you have any advice on what I should do? Please help me. I'm sorry Magus, but I'm not sure what advice to give you. Maybe you could explain to her how similar Wicca is with Christianity. If it's the 'magic' part of it she's concerned about, to...

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
That is awesome Amethyst! I am sure he will enjoy the books :) We read a little bit of tonight, and he wants the book for Christmas lol. It really brings everything down to a child's level! Like how to make a wand, a book of magic, color, food, and herb correspondences, and other little easy and fu...

Interesting Coffee Ground Reading
I was craving Greek coffee today, so I decided to read the grounds since I was going to have a cup anyway. Usually, I get general symbols....trees, mountains, letters, arrows, animals, etc...but I've never had symbols like these before, so I thought I would get some opinions. For my reading, I had a...

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
I understand completely. My daughters are 12 and 7 and I am just now teaching them about Wicca, Paganism, the craft etc. They both love my stones, candles and incense's. I have taught them what they are all for and have educated them that the world can be ugly when it comes to this stuff and they d...

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
The two resources for kids that I can think of off hand are Spiral Scouts http://www.spiralscouts.org/ and Pooka Pages http://www.pookapages.com/ . Googling the words "Pagan Children" or "Wiccan Children" seems to give a pretty helpful start in finding resources for children. Th...

Re: My First Altar! =)
Thanks! I found it at a yard sale last year and thought it'd be perfect to hold my stones!
I also found a small cone incense holder today, so it'll replace that big chunky thing I've got there now!

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
Thanks River SilverWolf! I briefly brought up the Gods and Goddesses, but he didn't have much of an interest so I simplified it into saying we were going to be honoring Mother Nature. He was all for that! He's all about going on nature hikes and collecting things he finds in the woods now. As for no...

Re: My First Altar! =)
Thanks! I think I may take away the cone incense pot to balance things out a bit. It makes air look more fuller than the other elements. I have some of that crayola air dry clay...I could make a dish out of but I'm not sure if it would tolerate cone incense?

Re: Kids and Witchcraft
Thanks Indigo Pheonix! I have no idea how he figured out I was doing (or more preparing) to do witchcraft. Just one of those things he easily picked up on I guess. I'm pretty sure he is an indigo child, so he's very into anything metaphysical and I've even attuned him to Reiki 1. He's been begging m...
