Re: What kind of table to use for altar?

I once had a custom-made altar built to my exact specifications that I thought would suit my needs.

In the end, I've used my coffee table far more often. It's made solidly, it's survived a dozen moves, is a good size, and if I put a couple of pillows down it's the right height.

Re: Depression Spells? For siblings or kin?

(Don't put any over complicated potions.) Love this addendum. :P Is your sister seeing a therapist? Regularly? Is she on medication that could be altered to fit her current emotional needs? First things first, bipolar disorder and PTSD are medical challenges and need to first be addressed medically...

Re: Cauldrons

I'll be the weird one. I actually don't own a cauldron, never needed to use one, never had the urge to purchase one. I tend to use my regular pots and pans, incense burners, oil diffuser, and (maybe twice a year) an outdoor fire pit. Depends on the need. But I've never really "needed" to u...

Re: Spell to heal a Friendship (Urgent)

I think in this scenario you'll probably get better results by looking into spells to improve communication and try to open those communication lines. It will depend on why you aren't talking anymore. Have you tried contacting them the old fashioned way yet and stating that you miss chatting with th...

Re: Hanging out with Hardcore Christians

First, this isn't really an uncommon scenario for people of non-Christian followings who have the extra burden of handling psychological challenges. The hard reality is that of all the support groups out there, the vast majority that are close-knit and long-lasting are centered around churches becau...

Re: Questions about Tarot?

One question or situation per reading. But it could be a pretty broad spanning question. Depends on the spread being used. I have a routine for pre, present, and post-readings that basically developed by doing readings frequently over time. You develop your own style, your own routines, what makes y...

Re: How about a funeral pyre?

Look into your state and county laws. I know it's been done before though. There are usually some hoops to jump through, a few fees, and it generally needs to be done on private property somewhere where there's ample privacy. But the beginning step is to get a release of the body to the family after...

Re: Eclectic Pagan

That's a good rule of thumb too. People who tell you how or what to think are generally people whose claims should be taken with a grain (or sometimes bucket) of salt.

Re: Very Disturbing, Frightening Dream - Please Respond

Are there any women in your life that you currently feel threatened by in some form? Particularly those whom you feel you couldn't be defended against by your regular methods of self-defense? Woah, yeah. But the woman I don't feel safe around does not match the description of the woman in my dream ...

Re: Eclectic Pagan

Eclectic paganism is actually a very common path. We each walk our own, shape our own with our experiences and interests, so it only stands to reason that often these paths won't fall into a specific tradition. So no, you weren't wrong. You have no reason to apologize. And that other member is simpl...
