Funny, I find that small tight circles mean *stronger* energy and bigger slower circles mean *weaker* energy. Anyone else feel this way? Also, my pendulums often answer different ways (for yes and no questions) for different tools. Some like to swing, some like to rotate, some like to give my finger...

How about packing it in baking soda for a while? Then, you can start using cedar wood, lavender, or some other dry, natural herb that will cloud the smell of pachouli. Oh, I'd pack it in that baking soda for a week or two. The nice thing about baking soda is that it's white, and won't bleach if it's...

Did your aunt die not too long ago? Sometimes the feelings around a 'passed' loved one can be too much to put into magic. Find someone from a different generation who can help you temporarily until you heart has healed more. I get the sense that you will be hurting for a while... Or find a spirit gu...

My family for many years used trees to represent people. Blue spruces in our case, but my grandfather planted a tree for each of his kids in his back yard. Now, spruces are very different from lemon trees, and I guess I could see why that might be problematic. Oh, you could use herkamer diamonds to ...

Ok... here's my take. I think that when we do a spell, no matter how good or bad it is, there's a good chance it will work. However. I also think that there are things that "aren't meant to be". I'm not saying that all things aren't possible, I'm just saying that some things don't happen a...

Duct tape.
LOL I busted a gut over this one.

We call it the "First Force". :P I sometimes use duct tape to represent Spirit. :P Yes, call me the Junk Drawer witch!

I make "spirit houses" out of paper mache. I add lots of other stuff to it, too.. but the basis is paper. I think people think of paper as too "common" for ritual. I'd think that hand made papers would lend a nice energy... they certianly feel better than plastic!!! Though, hand ...

If you want some great Celtic stuff that isn't too modern, try "First Album" by the The Bothy Band. They are an old-fashioned old school Irish Celtic band and they don't go in for that new fangled foofy stuff. I like *some* Malicorne, though they go off the deep end with rock occasionally ...

If you feel drawn to working outdoors, sometimes it can take *years* to find the right areas for working and meditation. You have to find those places that are off the beaten path, yet accessible to you. I am still mostly looking for mine, and I've lived here for two years. Just start by taking walk...

The only person I'd trust with info would be (besides Eretik, natch) Raven Kaldera. People always seem to make giants to be things other than what they are. It's called the [url=http://www.amazon.com/Jotunbok-Working-Giants-Northern-Tradition/dp/1847287298/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid...

I read somewhere (I think in 'The Hebrew Goddess') that she was a Babalonian goddess of primal wisdom, or "Queen of the Animals."
Her animal was the owl.

The Babalonian gods all got turned into demons by the Hebrews, to thwart their numbers from worshiping them.

Sierra, if you haven't, I'd suggest the following books to read: When, Why...If by Robin Wood . This is a workbook for Wiccan ethics and morals, probably the only one in existence. If not, then it's the best. If you were wondering about *hard* questions, this is where you go. She's a great thinker a...

Some times the decks speak in riddles. Things like "you are pregnant"can be metaphorical. You are pregnant with rage or with sorrow or with some kind of potential, not always life giving power. Further, how's your biological clock? I sometimes find that people who want one or more kids are...

Nope doesn't matter what corner you use.... it matters more that the jar is not disturbed. South and North have nice attributions, but it's not really required. You have to make a new one if the jar gets found, disturbed or broken. (Like a jar of medicine, if the seal is broken, get another one!) Al...
