Re: Sangomancy (Vampyrecraft or "Blood Magick")

can you scry for something general with someone's blood though? Wouldn't it point to where the person was?

Re: Non-wiccan

I don't practise wicca. AT all. Not even a little. I tried, and I found the study of it pretty interesting if quite a bit as stiff a carcan as the catholic roots I was trying to get away from, but wicca doesn't sit with me. I have nothing against them, and I agree that their religion is...fine. But ...

Re: Sangomancy (Vampyrecraft or "Blood Magick")

I'd be especially interested in Divination when you do get around to it.
I know a few spells that use the caster's blood, but I'm pretty sure they don't enter that category, so if you get a few things, I'm really interested.

This aside, are you a sanguinarian? Is that a type of vampire, or...

Re: Don't eat it Snow White! Poisonous herbs

About jimsonweed, if you can find a hougan, he could most definitely tell you the dosage needed according to your weight, height and -for some reason, shoe size. Or maybe that's just if your feet are creepily small like mine... What is that potion meant to be used for? If it's for trance the halluci...

Re: Lilith

Aren't both versions interesting in the way that they both represent a rejection of the old religion? The pomegranate was the fruit Persephony almost ate which made her queen of the underworld for half a year -turned her into a queen and a woman from a girl and a daughter, while the apple was the fr...

Re: In need of help from fellow witches

You could give him a stone or a talisman to help him have more efficient dreams, as they are what helps people deal with the issues they don't want to think of when they are awake.

Re: Do love spells work?

Sure I did. Not for me, I could never quite be bothered to try to change the mind of a guy who didn't like me, though to be perfectly honest, it's not because of all those real deep moral things about manipulation you've said before; it's just a lot of hassle for spells that have such an unstable re...

Re: Can you 'tweak'

probably not, but you'll need to tweak it quite a bit; whatever the issues of his not being able to leave, they're definitely going to interfere with the ritual because this ritual is a conscious rejection of ones companion and you can't do that for someone else.

Re: Help Needed

pigeon's heart is the most effective one. As well as a long needle and a precious or semi precious stone, but honestly it's a f*** damn terrible idea. You could do an elastic spell, mind you, not sure it'd work, but the principle would be to cast a spell so the longer he stays away from you, the mor...

Well nobody's saying you shouldn't have a Charmed-ish life.
But the limits of the physical world tend to screw it up if you want some really impressive mojo without going down the invocation path...

Re: How to test for curses (Question)

Any familiar, or animal you are around often and that likes you will be extremely sketchy and uncomfortable around you if you're under a nasty type of curse.
I'm not too sure about the mild ones.

Re: Truth behind Charmed?

I know, it was brilliant! I thought the snake biting her neck was so sexual. Although poisonous, and it was a great metaphor too. I'm not sure for what -probably kharma or something, but it was GREAT.

Re: Bible support for multiple gods/ Split from other thread

All faiths are like that, the God of Christians is more jealous than other because he is an only child. But all Gods have their threats if you do not follow them. If I remember well, for Vikings changing Faith automatically put you in the realm of Hel, the goddess from which the word defining Christ...
