Winter Whirlwind Abating (original song)

Postby C u l a i n » Sat Feb 26, 2011 12:57 am

I recorded this almost immediately after writing it, and considered editing or re-recording, but I kind of like the "rough draft" feel. If you don't like peaceful music, you won't like this...

Very relaxing. I like it.

A tinge sad though, but that's probably just because I have a tendency to be a total downer-- that feeling disappeared at the end though. It's well-written and beautiful.

But now I'm wondering what kind of mad genius you are to be able to record something so soon after writing it. lol

:) Well I don't read music and had short-term access to a friend's recording equipment; so considering that it's a relatively simple melody, I just got to it! Thanks for listening...
By the way, I love that Polonius quote in your signature - although since the wonderful Zeffirelli version of Hamlet, I now cannot read them without thinking of their pronunciation by Ian Holm.
