I know this is a naive question
but can someone tell me the proper method
in the simplest terms I can understand of how to
shield and protect myself from all negativity?
and also how I can heal myself???????
I've been having so many panic attacks lately
and breathing has been difficult
and my heart races a lot

http://www.paganspath.com/meta/protcn.htm might have answers for you.
I don't know - if it were me, this is what I would do:
Have a shower. Lather up. Imagine all my negatives floating up into the bubbles. Wash it all off.
Write all the negative down on some tp. Flush it away.
I don't worry about protection before so much I worry about fixing it after. _________________ "Make up something cool. Tell them I said it." |

Thanks Jaelle for the great advice!!!!!!
I get this magazine I think it's called Mystic Pyramid and it had an inspiring quote on one of the items they were selling... it was a long quote but one of the sentences was
Love holds no record of wrongs.......I thought this was so refreshing to imagine an all Loving Universe that always wants us to grow and erases all our past wrongs and mistakes for us to move onward....
society of course is much different.... society is filled with negative, anger, hurt, etc etc..... and it is fed to children from a very young age....
ok yes I'm getting off topic but I like how you said that you just "worry about fixing it after"... that means that you know any problem is solvable!!!
thanks again!!! |

"Love holds no record of wrongs..."
I disagree - love can be wrong. You can love someone inappropriately, but to both the pedophile and the child might be adamant that their love is real. Or think about that first teenage love, when personality meshes and it becomes something very unhealthy. Or wars started, and blood shed, all in the same of love. Or my very first crush. I was *positive* we were destined to be together. I made sure everyone knew it, too - I can be subtle as a 2x4 about these things.
But he never returned my love. And as time went on (and I recovered from my broken heart) I came to realize that he wasn't the right person for me. We would be horrible together. Not only am I much too strong a personality for him, but he believes women should be at home. And go to church. And as the ultra-liberal feminist nazi pagan b**** than I am.... I just think I'd rather save us some pain and say "nope, not gonna work."
It would be nice if the world did run on loving energy, I agree. But I think to assume that it does can be a mistake. And there are some things that, once done, no amount of forgiveness can erase or undo what occurred. Some problems in the world are just not solvable. Some things can not be fixed, only dealt with. Ultimately, though, if a bad thing occurs, then you have to make the choice to let it push you around - or deal with it. (if that makes any sense). That's what I meant by "fixing it after". There's a great saying we use at work: "It's not so much about what happens, as it's about what you do with it afterward." _________________ "Make up something cool. Tell them I said it." |

First of all, go to your doctor and first rule out these panic attacks aren't something physical. _________________ Life's too short to worry about karma. |
