I have done quite a bit of searching around and I can't find too much information that I think is real about Atlantis or this spirit that came to me. I have found some people who talk about the coming war that I have seen, but not too much, and it's not quite like I saw it, so assuming that what I saw was accurate, I am offering it up for others like myself who can't find too much out there.

The Atlantean
In this dream I was a visited by some kind of spirit whose physical form I actually saw as a kind of moving shadow on the walls of my home. I was falling into a strange hypnotic sleep when I saw the thing right there in the room with me, as I panicked and started to move it seemed to leap into me and dragged me off to some kind of a controlled dream. I saw an ancient civilization that supposedly existed here on Earth tens of thousands of years ago, a technological society more advanced than even our own, yet plagued with poverty, crime, decay and a wicked form of decadent capitalism. He showed me the story of one mans life in that world and how difficult it was. Then he showed me the same society from an earlier time, he said "Now, back when I was a boy, things were different." It was an idealic place where life was beautiful and all things were good. He actually showed me an image from his own memories...boy, talk about ghostly.

On that first encounter with the spirit, I slipped his grasp and awoke to find the rooms temperature had fallen below freezing, colder even than it was outside. The heater had shut off seemingly by it's own accord.
A few days later I had another 'dream' in which this being finished his story...from the eyes of another man living at the same time in that world, I saw it all happen, a nuclear war had suddenly erupted on the other side of the planet and destroyed that side. I didn't see what happened to the good side, but I suppose it didn't survive, either due to the spreading of the war, or some kind of climate collapse as a result of destroying half the planet. In the end, as the being released his etheric grip on me, he said "Embrace peace Andrew." I have wondered a lot about that and conclude that if what was said and shown were true, that man died hundreds or thousands of years before the time he showed me. He must have watched his society mature from his day, and then with concern watched it's decline, and then with an unknowable horror and loss watched it's destruction. Can you imagine what he did after that...did he perhaps wander the Earth in despair for a hundred thousand years? And now, he has seen the world grow anew again, only to face a similar moment his own world faced so long ago. But why would he say anything to me? Especially of peace...

I had hoped to speak with the spirit again, but that hasn't happened. I wanted to know more about his world, of what happened. I wanted to know about him as well, can he see the future? And about other things, the mysteries of the world, did his people build the pyramids...stuff like that. Mostly though, I wanted to ask him, if he can speak to me, why can't he speak to the men who run the world? Surly such a being could have an audience with any man he wanted...why trouble with me?


The Dream of Manmohan Singh
In 2004 I began to have special dreams...dreams of the future, and dreams of the past, dreams that were anything but normal. The first of which was this; I was in a dark room watching two events occur simultaneously, each so profound that I didn't know which to watch, so I moved my head back and forth between the two trying to see both. Before me was a woman giving birth to my second son...accross the room, to my left, mounted on the far wall was a TV on which the Prime Minister of India was giving a fiery speech. The speech was the official response to an attack on India which had occurred the day before. The attack was a nuclear bombing of one or more of India's cities. It's hard to describe this speech fairly, as I'm sure none of us have ever seen anything like it before. The man was more than furious, he had gone mad, absolutely mad...he shook his fist and screamed over and over "How dare they do this! Who do they think they are? India is the greatest nation on Earth, our enemies are nothing compared to us, we will stamp them into the dust! Ten thousand years ago India was here, and ten thousand years from now India will still be here, but our enemies will not even exist by memory, all trace of them erased from the Earth forever!" On and on he went, screaming and ranting about the enemies of India, and how they would be destroyed...India this, the enemies of India that...
That's what I saw, that's what he said, and that's what you will see, very soon I should think...it is one of the things I know will come to pass unfortunately, because you see, to my astonishment, a few months later that man from the TV was selected to be Prime Minister, his name is Manmohan Singh, and he will lead the world into an abyss that has been unknown since the end of Atlantis. That you will see, and when you do, remember if you dare the rest of what I say here, because it gets a lot more interesting.


The Angel Guided Dream
Around that same time I had another very special dream in which a being of some kind, a being that most of you would easily call an angel, showed me a series of future events that were so extreme and terrible they could never be real. The being narrated the story from the beginning to almost the ending of WWIII, I saw the origins of the conflict, and it's evolvement into total war that quickly consumed the entire globe. The most shocking part was that I saw foreign armies fighting inside the mainland US. I watched the chaos reign of the early days of the war while the enemy slowly gained a solid footing, and began advancing in earnest. In the end of the dream I stood with the angel on the last great battlefield of the war, it was in the center of North Carolina. The angel explained to me that the Americans knew they were losing the war and decided to strike a critical blow to change the course of the war, so they concentrated everything they had in that one spot. As I stood there the angel said "They will use all of their technology and bring in everything they have, but nothing will stop them..." 'them' being the enemy forces.

This just tells me you are, or will be, in a position to somehow effect or alter this possible future. It could be directly or indirectly. That's why you were shown these things. You are no lesser or greater than other people. Everyone has the potential to influence future events. Political leaders have no more power to run the world than you do; their powers are wholly derived from The People. They must do what the people say if the people will only voice themselves.

I find mysteries and history as fascinating as you do but this does little good as far as really learning the lessons of the past. I think you would agree that reducing the consequences of other people's actions down to historical footnotes does nothing towards learning the lessons embedded in that history. If I were you I'd start actively promoting peace and understanding among people and nations if you want to avoid the future you have seen. Write letters, talk to people, start a webpage, or whatever. If you say it, it must be true.

I'm unclear what is being said here...are you *dreaming* these things? Or are they dreams within dreams?

Personally I don't buy into *any* notion that says, "Once upon a time there an all good civilization until X came and turned it all bad."

Even if that were the case, in no way does that imply anything about the future. IMHO, spirit guides are helpful but they should be tested and one should not implicitly believe what they say. If my guide told me things about the future I would be skeptical and I certainly wouldn't believe them if they tried telling me how things are going to be for everybody else.
