TOOTH ACHE
Did you know that taking a bit of crushed up clover and rubbing it over your tooth where it hurts along the gum front and back, granted it taste nasty as all hades, will numb your tooth, dull the pain, and you dont have to put all the extra money into orajel or some other tooth ache meds, and need need to take pain killers
(you can wash out your mouth after you throughly rub the area down)

Luck

need
A number of pennies, based on a lucky number or your life path number, that are from the year you were born
a drop of honey
a dash of clover
a dash of cinnamon
a gris girs bag in black, red, or green if possible or a square of cloth from something that you love/has a good meaning or that you think is lucky
something to tie the bag up it can have meaning to you, it can be something to embellish the bag, it can even just be a hair tie that you had on you

Take your cloth and add the pennies in my case i add 4 cus thats my life path number, i stack mine but you can do what you wish. Then drop a bit of honey and then a dash of clover and some cinnamon on top and then grab the corners of the cloth and pinch them together creating a pouch. Now take your ribbon, yarn, twine, hair tie, whatever you chose to tie the bag up with and tie the ends closed.

and there you go, its recommended that you carry it with you always but you can just keep it in my wallet/purse.I have made mine into a necklace and actually wear it warped in healing stones and with my arrow head so that i get both the luck and the focus for my healing abilities. I also suggest that you redo it every year on a Thursday of a wax moon and preferably within a month of your last bag.

SIMPLIFICATION

It is my belief that simple is better. Why? Well, it all comes down to the passing of information and the simple fact that many are looking for the simplest way to do something. I would rather someone do the simple way and do it right then to do something for some reason and end up doing something completely different. I do think that some things should have more steps, and yet i also believe there should be a varying level of difficulty for every spell someone dose so that they can their for pass on the spells to the next generation and it not be to much for say your child to learn.
I also believe that the harder the craft of choice is the less people are willing to practice it. Lets face it most people are either to lazy to learn all the facts, are to busy to, or in alot of the cases just dont understand it even after researching for moths and just give up.

NEED

smoked quarts
*sage**
*mini bottle with stopper**
*copper wire**

CHANT

I call upon the power three
To bring my desire to me
By fire, air, land, and sea
I thank thee, so mote it be

STEPS
1. Gather the ingredient you felt you needed along with the corked bottle, copper wire and sage.
2. Place the smoked quarts into the bottle, then break up the flower and place some of the petals, then the ginger, then the sage. As your doing this think of what exactly you are wishing for, imagine it is happening that it has already come to pass.
3. As you finally fill up your bottle, and you know that your wish will come true you chant the chant a total of three full times still imagining that your wish has already come to pass, while doing this you are going to cork the bottle then wrap the bottle in the copper wire as you fill you need to. (it can be just around the top and the cork, in a design around the bottle, or even encasing the bottle in the wire it is strictly up to you and what you fill you need)

HOPE IT HELPS

ONE
So when i say something like "this is mandatory" or "this is the basic" im saying this is the small, easy way to do the spell yet i tend to also put a whole list of other ingredients to intensify the work and for those of more practiced in the craft.

Or when i explained sigils, that was me making step by step plan on how to make a simple spell intensifier without doing something complicated and in some cases less harmful. I even use sigils as spells them selves ie talisman (which everyone can make).

TWO
Im also all for chants to help your spell and so that you dont have to call in any other being then the gods your hopeing to help aid you in your spell. Such as when i call on the power of three, referencing to the sisters of fate and the elements then i only call on them.
This way im not asking in any unnecessary gods or spirits or even inviting spirits i didn't know i was inviting, which can be the case if your first starting out casting a circle. I remember looking up other peoples circle castings and finding that they were just so complicated and full of so many steps that i was lost and even scared that i would mess up, then i found that some people dont even cast circles and others just make an alter and this confused me to no end till i started thinking about how in reality your chats/spell us calling on the gods, elements or whomever your seeking for help or blessings and the calling of the spirits and gods to join you were not necessary in most cases.

I also find that visualization helps more then anything else. The mind is a powerful thing as they say and is key for most spell casting in my opinion. If your visualizing what you wish this helps the gods understand you and help you along the way. If your saying the chant and visualizing the things you plan on coming to past, maybe meditate on it before hand like some do, i find it helps your spell all by itself.

THREE
Ik that tradition is a major part of the Craft, yet times have changed and who says that the craft cant change with it. If you find that something works better and might make it easier for you to say carry around like my wish spell its actually a wish gris gris i updated. This way it was a neat craft to get your children into, it was something you would actually wear around and keep with you, and to be honest just seemed like the better option for me. Who says you cant do the same for your spells as well.

and lastly....
BabyBear wrote:In all spells the ingredients are more then what you need,
i will show you what i tend to use, what i think are mandatory
and you can choose an odd number of ingredients you
believe you need at the time.
**I also think that you always need at least 3 and never more then 13.

I place this on the top of all of my BoSs because to me this is the basics and all the beginner needs to know when making any of my spells...

1. that all the spells are made to be simple as simple or as hard as your comfortable with
2. that all of my spells can be done more then one way
3. that all of my spells are based on gris gris or herbal remedies and there for fallow the basic rules:

a. always use an odd number of ingredients (with the exception of 12 in my opinion b/c its divisible by 3)
b. that you use between 3 and 13 ingredient no more no less
c. and that you do them at your alter always

So I was thinking about how we write letters to our loved ones on Samhain and how some people burn them; how we write our wishes and goals onto paper and burn them; how we have fire magic spells that in order to have the spell go to someone say to bind or give them something like luck or courage we burn their image, sometimes with writing on the back.
So starting to see what im going to be talking about ;)

I love my spirit guide both my wolf and my dragons and ik that i tend to not thank or honor or acknowledge them enough, and I wont to change that.
So I decided that I will make a letter of what im feeling and hoping for at this point in time in regrades to my guide, a little thank you note and appreciation letter to let them know that i love them and am glad to have been chosen to be guided by them.
I will then take and draw an image of my guide on it and then fold it up and burn it to send it to him to keep with him and then sprinkle the ashes on the ground with some water and food.

I encourage others to do this too, maybe make it a more ceremonial thing just for your guides in honor of them, or maybe purify the paper with an incense you feel your guide likes (example my guide is a wolf and for some reason i think sandalwood or ceder and pine with some white sage) before burning it and after if you feel you need it

Painful Memory Banish

After this cruel memory is seen and said
Erase these thoughts from my heart and my head

Your going to say this when you start your meditation, reliving of the memories.
When you start to feel scared or the pain becomes to much just recite this again.

I say you have to meditate and relive your memories because i honestly thing that until you go through the memories in full when you say this spell that your not going to erase all the thoughts and the feelings behind them and although its hard there is nothing said about taking this in steps and only reliving some of it at a time.

Ostra Poem

With my green pointy hat
sitting proudly atop my head
I remember the words
that my Grandmother once said
"Remember the Earth, child
always hold Her close
Treat her with kindness
and respect Her the most
For she is our Mother
and we are Her babes
And honoring Her brings us
closer to the Olde Ways"
So, give love to the Mother
this Ostara and on
And keep the Olde Ways alive
in our daughters and sons.

Notes taken back in January:

Black Salt

used to purify and asorb evil or negativity

Light a black candle, sage the the salt and house (use holy water too if wish) then light white candle to add purification and positivity

add to War Water, Hot Foot powder, Graveyard Dirt and Rattle Snake salt for added potency and protection

REMEMBER TOO
change weekly by one of four methods:
ground- bury it at a cross roads that you dont visit often, cemetery or somewhere far enough away from your property that you wont bring back the negativity with you
cast to wind- in the 4 directions asking the winds to take away your negativity and evil
fire- throw into fire with paper of stuff you with to rid of (dont use these ashes to make more black salt)
living water- running water ie creek, ocean, a ditch were the water runs and isn't still, a toilet or sink can be used if your desperate but not advised if you have a septic tank or live in a apartment complex were the negativity will end up sticking to your area

War Water

Also called Iron water and Mars water
this water is simply iron rich water that has rusted and is reddish brown in hue
Basicaly you take cut iron of any kind (ie iron nails usally) cover with a little bit of water and let it rust for 7-10 days adding water as the rust builds, strain and use as needed.

side note:
if you wish for it to look more witchy and black add sulfur, gunpowder or spanish moss, it turns the water black and makes it smell most horrible
and avoid using it with thunderstorm water, urine and sulfur all together or more then two and war water mixed ie dont use this in a witches bottle if you plan on adding urine

HOT FOOT POWDER

contains Cayenne pepper, Black pepper, black mustard seed, sulfur and high john the conqueror root
mixed and finely ground together in a mort and pestle

remember to always wash hands after touching

removed unwanted guest and prevents unwanted visitors

Rattle snake salt
this is just salt from salt curing rattle snake meat
its common in South America but extremely hard to find and is believed that when used in food makes you stronger and live longer

Graveyard Dirt

Should be payed for ie pay the spirit of the person you are taking from

The going usual payment is silver dimes but if you know the person you can change it to suet the person,
for example my Grandy Lucil loved purple Morning Glories, Figs, Kumquats, and loved her red hair dye
also something between me and her was to gift each other things in purple so that might also be a acceptable offering.

You should always dry out your grave yard dirt

it is used for protection, curses, creativity, love spells and prosperity

where you get the dirt effects the out come of your spell (ie if you got dirt from a famous writer then use it for creativity, if you got it from a singer use it for singing, need money or prosperity go to a billionaires grave, .etc .etc)

always be respectful in asking for your dirt dont just take it

combine all of these or even just three or four and you have a very powerful protection potion that drives away those of negativity and that are unwanted, clears out the evil, absorbs the negativity, and strengthens the protection of your home, i personally havnt done this yet because i just dont have the freedom to make them without runing into problems with the people i live with atm but i cant wait to be able to make this and place it at my door ways when i can

*** additions graveyard dirt notes added 3/14/2015 ***

List of things to use graveyard dirt for are limitless to be honest just keep in mind that Graveyard dirt is VERY advanced magic and VERY temperamental magic that can be used to enhance any spell/curse/hex and that when using graveyard dirt one dose not simply go to a graveyard and take it.

Here are some basics:

First
you need to think on what you are wishing to accomplish.
Are you trying to enhance a spell for writing? dancing? singing? art?
If so then you would want graveyard dirt from someone who had the creativity you are craving.
Are you asking for protection? Then think of someone who made you feel protected when they were alive or someone who you loved.
Really think about the spell you are trying to do and think of a person who you think embodies what your trying to accomplish.

Second
keep in mind who you are taking the dirt from.
Remember the person you are taking the dirt from effects your spell so you don't want to take dirt randomly and end up with a serial killer or somethings dirt and add all that negativity and just wrong energy into your spell.

Third
dont take without asking:
You need to make peace with who you are taking the dirt from; remember this is their dirt not yours you don't simply steal it you must make a trade. This might go best with someone you know then with someone you don't but simply take a offering of something that person would have loved in life and missed in death. A good rule of thumb though is to offer money simply because its a common trad offering if you do this i would suggest silver dollars because they are not so used anymore and are rare ie more important i guess you would say.
But for an example say i wish to get some dirt from my grandmother I would bring some morning glories, and vegetable soup. Why? Because those things hold meaning to me and her; purple morning glories were the plant she keep outside her front door and we watered them every day together, and veggie soup is the first thing she ever tough me to make along with grill cheeses :D . I would then sit and talk with her for a bit explaining why I wish for the dirt and how I ask for her blessing in taking the dirt. I would share my offering with her and then say a little prayer asking for her and the gods blessing and thanks for giving me the dirt to use for _____ purpose.

Fourth
keep the dirt in something that has been concentrated. Graveyard dirt is special for a reason. It adsorbs all the energy of those with whom it comes in contact with, hence why who you take it from is so important, and now that you have taken if from its spot with nature and it can not purify itself you and everyone who touches it will contaminate it with whatever energy you are carrying around even more so then most.

DISCLAIMER DONT READ IF YOU DONT LIKE OPINIONS CUS THATS ALL THIS IS

Wicca/Wiccan, Pagan/Paganism, Witch/Witchcraft
So this goes to something that I have been studying to better understand.
It has caused me to I change how i presented what I practice as being Wicca. See the problem with this is it wasn't till modern practitioners that Wicca was even named a religion.

You can search youtube and find several people post vids on the difference between Wicca, Witchcraft, and Paganism but what a lot of people dont know is that Wicca use to just mean that you were a male practitioner of a faith based on the worship of Gods and Goddesses. The females are called Wicche.
It wasnt until Gardner that Wicca was the name of the religious practice, and has only been around for about 60/70 years. Before then they were just Pagans who practiced various coven based practicing. Now that Ive gotten that out of the way lets begin.

Now me personally this is how I separate the difference's between the three and why I define myself as a Pagan Wicche.

WITCHCRAFT
Witchcraft is the practice of using earth, elements and natural energies. This meaning people who are herbalist or aromatherapist who use natural properties of herbs, fruits, flowers and so on to aid them in a cause be it healing, relaxation, pain relief and so on. This also applies to people who do say yoga because it helps with pain or acupuncturist who use pressure points to alleviate pain and brake habits. Witches are more so Shamans then Wiccans and do not have to believe in Gods or Goddesses and can practice any religion freely. They do not have to adhere the the Wiccan Rede and are not a religion. And a witch can be anyone who uses natural remedies as oppose to medicine, say your Grandmother who tells you about using sweet onion oil for ear aches, or chewing whole clover to numb your gums cus you have a tooth ache and are out of Orajel. Witches can also cast spells without calling on gods and goddesses for help.
Witches can be both Wiccan and Pagan but can choose not to be.
(DISCLAIMER: This doesn't give you permission to call your grandma a witch.)

WICCA
Wicca, is a new religion based on old Pagan practicing of covens worshiping and having ceremonies and traditions for various Gods and Goddesses. The term Wicca, like I stated before is actually the male practitioner and Wicche the female. Now they are both considered Wiccans. Practitioners of Wicca believe in Gods and Goddesses and follow a standard of living and practicing based on the Wiccan Rede (the link is the full version). It was published by Gwen Thomson in Green Egg Magazine in 1975, and attributed to her grandmother. The Rede has been redone several times and most have shortened it down but all follow these rules:

An it harm none, do as ye will.
This means if it harms none then do as you please.
And ever mind the Rule of Three:
What ye send out, comes back to thee.

That what you do comes back to you 3 fold, or 3 times as bad or good.
Follow this with mind and heart,
And merry ye meet, and merry ye part.

Follow both the laws and the beliefs with all your heart and mind otherwise you will not be happy and you will not enjoy your practice to its fullness.

Now with Wicca you can be a Witch just like you could be a Witch if you are Christian, however you do not have to be a witch. Now most Wiccans believe that all Gods and Goddesses are real and just chose to focus on one set pantheons, or set of mythologies, or pick and choose what feels right to them, usually after spend years ahead of time studying and learning to the best of their abilities about their practice before choosing the God(s) and/or Goddess(es) who they believe has chosen them or to work with and even after then they spend all of their lives learning from their God(s) and/or Goddess(es) to learn what all they are willing to teach them in this life. Some also choose to believe in just Male and Female energy aka God and Goddess or Father and Mother. They do not choose a named god or goddess but just focus on the energies that the Male and Female represent.
Wiccans are Pagans and most are Witches.

PAGANISM
Paganism is an umbrella term for any one who dose not follow the Abrahamic religions: Christianity, Muslim and Judaism. All pagans are nature based religions or cultures and include everything from Buddhist, Hinduism, Native American cultural practices, Naturalist and Yogies. Pagans are people without God meaning the Abrahamic god.
Pagans do not have to be Wiccan or Witches.

Now I mix a lot of religions to make up my path including Wicca, a little bit of Voodoo, some Celtic traditions and a lot of Witchcraft, and more. I also have a lot of values that are also taken from all over the place like Buddhism and Native American because I feel they fit with my practice and are me and some just because that is my heritage. I believe in my God and Goddess, I worship them and hope to learn as much as I can from them in this life and the next. And going through my mind at this point in time is that I am a female pagan who practices a lot of various pagan religion practices spread out not just wicca so I decided for me I am a Pagan Wicche, a female practitioner of paganism not just wicca. If I'm wrong to call my self as such then I guess thats on me.

This is wonderful! I love this. Do you mind making some more of the VERY SIMPLE spells like the make a wish spell on page 2? That and the one below it are wonderful.

Oh: And I believe that it's not a "Pagan Wicche" it's: "Eclectic Wiccan". They're the same thing, I think. :D

lol sure I keep forgetting to post things on my online bos cus i just dont know what to upload or what people will read, any suggestions you have would be nice

also I would have to agree that that Eclectic Wiccan might be the same but as i stated I practice more then just wicca so cant just call it wicca at least i dont wont to lol I tell every one that ik dont know much that im just a pagan/wiccan i dont go into details or anything its just for me personally that i call myself Pagan Wicche i just feels more accurate
