Do members of a coven worship the same God/Goddess?

Hello,

I was wondering if members of a coven worship the same God/Goddess.
In a coven, do members do things only for The One God & Goddess and any facets of The One is kept for individuals to worship on their own time at home? I'm curious as to how covens work.

Thanks!

Only one perspective here, and my coven is super laid back. We actually do very little discussion of the God and the Goddess; we mostly focus on supporting each other and celebrating the Sabbats. Once I asked if any of them worked/worshipped more specific deities and they all looked at me like, "Huh?" (all of them are at least 25 years older than me, and they're from an older generation of Pagans who are more focused on environmentalism and activism). We do acknowledge the Lord and Lady when calling the quarter, but yes, I definitely focus on my relationship with the Goddess much more on my own time (which suits me just fine).

I think it really depends on the individual coven, and any tradition they might follow. For example, I believe that Gardenrian Wiccans do worship a specific god and goddess during coven workings. A few forms of traditional witchcraft are similar, worshiping a particular deity or pair of deities in coven workings. However, most covens don't limit you to those deities, you know? What you do on your own is your business. Other covens may focus on the 'general' God and Goddess. Some might bring in their individual deities they follow. There's really a lot of different ways covens can do things.
