I may. I am thinking about adding two new forms of the incenses I already make in cone and stick format. I just dont know about what sort of charcoal to use for it to work right as well as what sort of resin I would want for the glue to the stick.

I dont know if you have dollar stores where you are but they have all sorts of candles and incense burners and the like for a dollar each. You can also often find a large supply of kitchen herbs and spices for cheap there as well. There may even be statues you find there you want to use for spirit or deity representation. There are also some basic arts and crafts supplies with wrapping paper ribbon so you can create effective spells that way.

I may end up making a new topic/poll for it soon.. Give it a few weeks, because I need to rebuild from the ground up, but the site is www.phoenixwands.com

Watch out for shipping costs when buying online. Some of the shipping costs can be twice or more the amount of the product. Sometimes, when buying a designated larger amount of merchandise you can get free shipping. I wish all shipping was free!

I usually order my supplies from Amazon, Abaxion.com & SacredMists.

Try searching for them on Google. :flyingwitch:

Unfortunately as a business owner I have to say that the shipping prices are what they are because of shipping costs in most cases. There are times when the shipping is more than the item, but if it costs $5 to ship the business owner needs to put that into the calculations of the products and sale prices. You can either raise the price and include basic shipping in the price or you can have them be separate. It costs money to ship items. So yes shipping can be more than the cost of the item because unfortunately it costs like $5 at the lowest to ship a small bundle of herbs.

With candles.. You can make your own. (my sister does!) she got online and bought a huge brick of wax. Then the wicks came. She popped off a chunk of wax, put it in a Baggie, and put that in a pot of boiling water to get the wax melted. Once she set up where she was going to put the candle..(a jar, a molding.. What have you) she sometimes used food coloring in the wax to "get in the spirit" of what the intentions were for the candle. We had candles coming out our ears. (make sure you don't forget the wick, .. There are better "how to's" on google. Or bing.. Ect..
If you don't have time to plant your herbs, those small markets, or farmers markets usually have what you may need.
For things like .. A cauldron.. Or athame.. You may be amazed how you aren't looking and one lands at your feet! I actually got 2. . A copper one.. And a black cast iron one.. 1 a gift, 1 I saw with a bunch of books in a head shop. (I was buying incense) and it was $12.. (wow! A great deal). Bought and I'm so pleased that I just stumbled onto it.
I turned around, and my sister (another sister) gifted me an altar. She bought a breakfast food tray, and made a false bottom for it. (it was meant to be portable, I was in the broom closet at that point with my husbands parents, where we lived) (real holy rollers) .. She also gifted me other small things to use. .. Candle holders, censors, a snuffer that's handle looked like a tree limb.. Because for the first time in my life, she saw me happy with my faith. ..
There was more but, I think you get the point.
However, my besom, wand, bits of decor for my alter, were gifted to me from Gaia. With permission...
Leaves that were fallen .. Small sticks that I entwined with ivy to make a pentagram. ...

If you pay attention when your outside.. Look around you and see ., use your imagination. And if something speaks to you.. It's for a reason. Pick it up, with permission and gratitude, and hold onto it.. You may just have the missing link to something you needed!
Blessings

Etsy has some great practitioners who make some great items at good prices. As far as candles if you want to make your own invest a bit of money in candle molds and wicks. They are pretty cheap to get started and I melt my wax in a empty soup can.

In the spring and summer you can find a lot of herbs at local farmers markets. It would be a great way to find what grows in your area. Plus you would also be helping some local businesses. Most of the herbs wouldn't be dried so you would need to dry them yourself or use them fresh.

A lot of times you can find some very good items at thrift shops , vintage stores, and other places. A lot of your supplies you probably already have around the house but never noticed before and many items can be found in nature.

There are plenty of on-line retailers of witchcraft supplies for specialty items. Amazon.c is good for bulk candle purchasing. Locally, i buy expendable supplies at the grocery store, stick/cone incense, tea lights at some chain variety stores (I.e., Target & Dollar Stores in US), and World Market for more interesting finds. I always check the “sale” shelf.

Just look around & use what Nature provides. Graveled paths are good sources for white quartz stones or check garden or landscaping stores.
