i don't know if anyone else here listen metal, but let me tell you it's the best genre of music... my favorite are: HIM,Cradle of Filth,Pantera,Metallica,Disturbed,Children of Bodom,Death.......

I am a Metal fan, too many favourites to list at the moment I am on a early 90s Finnish Doom/Death metal binge. Hard to find stuff by bands that lasted for a demo or two then folded.
The genre of Metal offers so much scope to concentrate on one little scene like this for too long.

I've been listening to Metal since 1992. More into the "extreme" metal scene, but I do listen to "traditional" metal. Too many sub categories imo! Some of my favorite Metal bands include Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Metallica (of course), Akercocke, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Deicide and As I Lay Dying to name a few.

I aslo listen to other musical genres, just about everything except rap, r & b and country.

w00t for a7x! I have loved them since I was 15 and Waking the Fallen came out!

Blind guardian is my only favorite band, though I like all types of music in general(yes even opera and country). Of their CDs I have is- Battalions of Fear, Somewhere Far Beyond, A Night At The Opera, Follow The Blind, Fly, A twist In The Myth, and Nightfall In Middle-Earth.
