I would like that book. It sounds very nice. :) Most of the witches I know like to work with herbs to enhance their magick so they would certainly like tea magick.

This looks like a pretty complete list...I imagine under the kinds of teas, you will include how the are aged and such to get the different tastes?
I can't really think of anything you may have left out...now I can hardly wait to buy it! Better get typing, eh?
wonderful, wonderful

I've been collecting these things for my BOS...
Some of these are going to have to be thinned out !
But I love all the info I find on these boards !
I know a lot of this stuff, but it's good to have
a copy of this on hand.
Thank you all !

Yes Ms, this is very wonderful stuff...
I wish the OP was still around, he had such good insights and wonderful things to say, I think I would have called him the Wizard of Tea!!...I'm sad to say Scaravich has taken leave from us, there came an issue with his pet roaches as an Avatar, so he took 'em down and left, I personally miss his posts quite a bit, and I kinda viewed the roaches as piece in the line of compost. It was cute how they were cuddling together. Ah well...his acct is still open, maybe someday he will return....Miss you Scaravich :(
Blessings to all, Firebird

Hey guys :) Thanks for everything you've said about this thread. It really is motivational!! I actually have worked quite a bit on this book, but as I said in another post, recently my views of magic have really changed. So I'm not sure how to continue the book, since a lot of it contradicts what I think now.

So it will take some working out. I hope to be able to answer questions about tea still. I still know a lot about the mundane aspects of tea :) And I still have some magical theories (hypotheses?) about it but I want to think about them a lot more before continuing.

You are welcome!! I hope to return to this some time soon... But I really have no idea where my path is taking me right now as far as how I view how magic should be used/should work. So I gotta get that sorted out somehow... :)

I know this is an old thread, but its such fascinating and beautiful information. I use herbs a lot but have never thought about using Tea as part of my magic.

I hope you really do write a book, I love the idea of it and would totally buy it.

I used to drink yarrow tea for fibromyalgia and headaches. I would consecrate the tea leaves then focus on stirring clockwise with intent using the metal tea infusing spoon as the wand. I wonder if just focusing on the stirring motion of the liquid would be enough to focus intent. I always get in an altered state if I focus on stirring. If I feel like I need protection I just stir my coffee with intent. I also drink tea and would like to know do you need separate pots for different magickal intentions? Blue for health, green for wealth, red for energy ect., or can one black pot be used for various teas?
