I also suffer from SADS, but this is the first year that we celebrate the Wiccan/Pagan holidays and I'm feeling pretty good about that. The dark days still make me feel a little depressed, but recently my little cat went missing which has contributed to the sadness. I believe that this path makes me want to celebrate life more - every season has it's positive side.

So true about this path...it has gotten me through some rough times not just seasonal. And so sorry about your kitty, my sisters kitten was missing for two weeks but came home over the weekend so don't lose hope.

When I lost my dog to a crazy schizo ( literally) neighbor w a gun ... I was buried in everything spiritual. It is such an amazing therapy. This and music.

Thanks for the positive feedback regarding my kitty. I'm so worried about him, but I haven't lost hope. Immersing myself in the spiritual and looking forward to Samhain is helping.
