I already have a Tarot set (with kitties!) but a friend of mine had an extra set and gave it to me.

Does anyone know what this set is called? I feel like it's an Egyptian pantheon set.

I'm not familiar with this one, but I would love to see the cards inside! Are those the suits represented on the 4 cards on the cover? They look similar to a deck of playing cards. Since tarot started as a game played with regular tarot cards, it makes me wonder if this is a very early set...?

I agree with Rosie that we can't tell for that image. We'd need to see the backs of the cards and maybe a few of the major arcana?

Whoops; didn't think about that, sorry!

From the cards on the inside I don't feel like they're really "Egyptian" necessarily, so I'm not sure why it looked like it was from the box.

Interesting. You have the typical suites there, which is interesting because it shows spades and hearts on the front. I like the color coordination between the suites and major arcana. It does seem like a very basic set, but very usable.

Thats the Nova Tarot deck By Dennis Fairchild, it's pretty basic and needs some heavy learning, nothing Egyptian about it though.
