Better Card Meanings

So, my little book kind of sucks.

Okay, let me back up there. I currently have the Cachet deck, which I keep trying to call the Chalet deck for whatever reason, and I adore the deck. I've had it since I was pretty little, and the first time I did a serious reading with it, when I was maybe eight - a simple three-card past-present-future spread - it was so accurate it actually scared me and I didn't touch the deck for almost a year. So, long story short, the deck's been on point for me almost 100% of the time (and I'm fairly sure those few times were, frankly, human distraction and error), always.

The thing is, the little book that comes with it kind of sucks. It was great when I was a little younger, but now... I'm a little frustrated it doesn't have reverse meanings of anything but the Major Arcana, and a lot of the meanings it has are shorter than I'd like - which is fine if I'm in a hurry, but sometimes it's unsatisfactory or doesn't make sense for the reading I'm doing.

Is there a way I could get another book for it with the meanings of the cards - reverse and upright - in more detail, but still comprehendible, for a reasonable price, without buying a whole new deck? I'd rather not have to print one, since my printer also sucks (haha... c'est la vie), but if you have an easy-navigation, RELIABLE link, then feel free to post and I can probably get it on my phone.

Hey Silverstrong! The first question I would like to ask you is whether your deck is Rider-Waite inspired or totally different..? Usually tarot decks that are rider-Waite inspired, or built inside the rider-Waite "Skelton" are easy to find similar meanings between.

When I first started to learn tarot I used Aeclectic.net to help learn some of the card meanings. They are mostly based off of Rider-Waite too.

Another helpful resource I have found, especially for reversed meanings is brainscape.com. Actually I have the iPhone app for it, and I think I paid $1.99 for the astrology study cards. It includes all card meanings and the reversed meanings.

Hope that helps some!

Rosie

This is the cachet deck:

http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/cachet/

It does have the same "Rider Waite" layout (although technically speaking the Rider Waite layout isn't the first Tarot deck in existence with that same systematic setup). But I digress.

How you interpret the deck will depend on how you connect with it, but there are a lot of resources out there that describe the basic Tarot definitions. They often overlap, some of the details vary depending on the author. I can't think of any specific titles off the top of my head, but if you have some time to spend looking through a few different places it may be worth looking into your local library or this online one:
