Repeated cards during consecration?

Hi all! I recently bought a tarot deck (Rider-Waite, specifically) and consecrated it this evening. I started out with a tarot spread of four cards to figure out what I needed from my deck- what my strengths were in divination, my weaknesses, what my intention was and what the spirit intended me to do with the deck. The cards were pretty standard and made sense, as they should.
Most notably, I got the knight and page of pentacles for the last two questions- both beside each other in order, even though I shuffled the deck well. Of course, the knight is for responsibility/providing for others, and the page for new beginnings and new knowledge. This seemed accurate for my situation.
However, as I shuffled the cards, I cut the deck randomly and the knight showed up again. As I cut randomly again, the page showed up again. I was wondering if cards keep showing up during a spread, or even afterwards, is this meaningful in any way? Or simply a coincidence?
Thank you all :^)

I think it's totally meaningful and to be honest, when cards continue to show up like this I take it as them being INCREDIBLY meaningful. Whenever I have cards that continue to pop up in readings it's usually because the meaning of those cards is something that really pertains to my question or my current situation. I take it as an important message that needs to be heard. I think you need to make sure you commit to memory what the message means to you and try to see why these cards may be so important right now. They may be trying to reinforce beliefs you have already or perhaps are trying to show the way to something new.

Something else I've learned while reading Tarot is that the cards don't always mean as they appear. There's a chance that you may want to look at the cards fully and see what is depicted on them, what else they can mean, and how else this may pertain to you personally. I've had many times where I'll draw a card and use my book to verify what it means but nothing stands out to me. It's not until I start looking at the card more and focusing on the keywords that I begin to realize that it isn't as clear cut as it appears.

I hope this helps! I'm really sleepy right now so I feel as if I'm talking in circles. Haha!

If a card shows up repeatedly, it's usually a message. Look at the general meaning of the card, then think about what the card means to you. A knight and a page may indicate spirit guides.

I agree -- I have often had cards that show up repeatedly across readings during certain phases of my life (cropping up both in readings I do for myself and in readings others do to me). Like others said, that means that the card is very significant and not to be ignored -- it'll keep cropping up until whatever message it bears has been successfully delivered and/or your situation is resolved. Court cards like the Knight/Page of Pentacles could indicate spirit guides, or people in your life. Also, pay very close attention to the artwork.

Yes, thank you Xiao! The artwork is really important too! (: I can't begin to count the amount of times I've actually gotten more information about my answer from the artwork instead of the meanings behind it. You really never know what will speak to you on the card. It's why I love Tarot so much~
