Tarot Mission Statement question
Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:59 am
I have been working on connecting to my tarot deck & learning as much as I can about them. I use The Wildwood Tarot & absolutely love them. I came across a website last night when looking up methods for cleaning & charging my deck. I will have to insert the page link once I get on my laptop since my tablet is being stubborn lol. The woman's name is Geraldine Amaral. ETA to add link: http://www.thespiritualtarot.com/Bless_this_deck.html
She recommends writing a Tarot mission statement before charging the deck in order to define what I hope to accomplish with the use of my cards. Has anyone else done this before?
She developed a 4 card spread, that I have quoted here:
3) Queen of Arrows (Swan) 4) Six of Bows (Abundance)
Ok, I am still a major Tarot noob but I'm working on remedying that. I know what my limited take on the meaning of these cards is, but I would like some further insight. I plan on journaling my feelings about each card at some point today but I can't focus enough right now. I've got a terrible headache & my 4yo won't let me out of her sight at the moment lol.
Any input and advice would be greatly appreciated! I know this is a deeply personal thing, I just need some guidance as I learn the ropes. Thanks in advance!
Blessed Be,
Pink

1. What personal strength can help me in my use of the Tarot?
2. What areas in my life are still being developed that would be best not to include in my mission statement? Is there anything I should be concerned about or especially cautious about when doing a reading?
3. Help me understand what I hope to accomplish with the Tarot. Show me cards that can help me understand my intent for the use of my Tarot deck?
4. What is the universe’s intent for me when I use the Tarot? What does Spirit want me to know about how best to use these cards?
