A Great Way to Learn Tarot

So I have begun a daily ritual. Every night before I go to work, I draw a card from my Tarot deck and put it in the front zippered spot of my lunchbox so that it's with me all night. I look up the card's meaning as I am not well versed in tarot, so that as the night progresses I can see how much I see that card reflecting in my night. Well last night was major. I drew the Temperance card. When I looked it up in relation to work it said to do the best of my abilities, and not to expect more than I should of myself or others. This is difficult for me. I always feel like no matter how hard I work its never hard enough.
Last night, someone called out and I had to fill in in a spot I hate. Normally I would let this consume me...but I remembered Temperance. I had a strange feeling of self satisfaction with my work last night. I knew that while I was maybe not as fast at this job, that I was actually doing ok! No beating myself up. I was happy enough about it that this morning I did what I would call my first real wiccan celebration.
I have a small wooden box with a glass top that I keep incense and a burner in for the intention of this very thing. I took my box and my Temperance card out under a huge tree in my back yard, put the card in the glass top propped against the tree and lit an incense cone. I poured out red wine as an offering, some up high for Father Sky, and some down low for Mother Earth.
I took a bit of the wine soaked dirt and drew the Goddess' s three moon symbol on my forearm, closed my eyes and meditated....mentally forming my thanks to the Goddess and God. What sounded like about twenty birds in the trees above me began to make noise loudly and all at once!! I really feel like it was their way of letting me know they heard me!
