Lovin' this fun tarot deck imagery: a strong grasp of the intended psychology behind the cards, with brazen retro campiness...these are a few of my fa-vor-ite things!

And the death label on the mayonnaise - 'everything expires' !

It's definitely black humour ... Reminds me of Ann Taintor memes

I got this tarot deck finally. The little instructional book that comes with the cards describes the meanings pretty well and very funny. The card stock is pretty good quality too (which is always a worry for me when it comes to tarot decks).

It has an interactive website if some people want to see what some of the book says.

When I first posted this (almost exactly four years ago! geez), I mentioned how I liked the deck, but I didn't have the deck at the time. I recently bought it, and I've been having fun with it, but at the same time, getting good reads from it. I pretty much could read anything, really; I could read a pile of rocks if I had to.

Any way, the instruction booklet has several funny (but real and usable) tarot spreads that some of you might be interested in trying, if not with this deck with whatever oracle you already have, tarot or otherwise.

Continuing the 50s retro theme of the cards, the spreads themselves have funny names like, "The Martini," "The Clothesline," "The Dinette" (which is an arrangement of the cards in a place setting complete with silver ware, lol), etc. They even have kitchen recipes.

I'll post some tarot spreads soon, think you'll get a kick out of them.

Thanks.
