Hey guys
So I'm planning to do a banishing ritual tomorrow night to banish this entity who's influencing /possessing my friend Josh. Can I get your thoughts on my ritual so far
Ritual steps.
Ground centre and shield.
Call the quartet's and cast the circle
Play some positive vibrations raising music to raise energy
Invoke arch angel Michael (for my own protection)
Invoke Isis using the following invocation ive wrote myself
O Isis divine mother of all most powerful sorceress on earth i ask that you lend me your power so that i may heal my dear friend Josh of this darkness controlling him.
I then plan to invoke ra
Oh mighty Ra sun god i ask that you fill me with your powerful masculine energy and with your light aid me in banishing this darkness from Josh.
Then I plan to focus on a picture I have of Josh and recite the following spell.
You are not one of the living nor are you on of the dead
Daemon I cast you out I banish you
Leave Josh now I command you
In the name of Ra and Isis I command you
Return to the dark from whence you came
Harming none ever again I cast you out
After reciting this 7 times I plan to just focus on his image and send the energy to him while visualising the dark energy (I'll visualise it as a dark mass) leaving him.
I'll then thank Isis and Ra for their aid as well as thanking Michael and the elements.
Anyone got any suggested changes.

You should also ask Isis and Ra to be present in the circle with you

Also, after the ritual, don’t forget cleansing yourself as well. Sometimes in the attempt to banish someone else’s negativity or something attached to them, it will hang around and wait for your shield to go down and then attach to you. If you cleanse yourself and keep up protection for a few days after, that would be best.

Excellent point on the cleansing thing afterwards il smudge myself and make sure to carry my clear quartz and amythest just so this thing doesn't dare try its luck with me. However i also know should it try to appear to me while doing the ritual it will get a nasty surprise with me having Isis Ra and Michael behind me

If a dark entity comes into your life it's great to have divine back-up, but remember, you have to be the one to tell it to get gone from your space.

Personally i dont think this entity has the power to make itself known to me once i start the banishing as i think if it had it would of already done it. Plus if it tries to stop me its only wasting its energy and making itself weaker making it easier to banks.

I am probably wrong and I haven't read a lot about dark entities in how to deal with witchcraft. Please let me know if I am wrong. I would still cleanse the area I work and the place where you live. It may not directly focus on you if you are banishing for your friend, but I feel like negative energy could seep into the walls and linger there, waiting to build up or for the right moment. Again, I'm probably wrong and paranoid.

Its why im going so OTT with protection tbh
As my friend has told me that this thing is weak but i also know that if this thing manages to take Josh it will probably come for me next. Its gonna be strange for me not resorting to my natural instincts and using the darker energies to rip this thing from his body but as my friend agreed with me when i said while i could use the dark to banish it i risk hurting Josh if i don't just end up making it stronger.

This could be why this Dark entity seems/is so weak. You're tempted to just go back to using Dark energy instead of using positive energy.

I was told by my friend its weak. However i know i cant use dark energy for this. As much as part of me would love to rip this thing straight out of him and chuck it back in to whatever abyss it crawled out of by doing that id risk hurting the person who's my best friend and like a brother to me. Plus seeing as i want to sort things out with him that's probably a bad idea.

I agree with planewalker. It may be trying to tempt you to use dark magic. which it could use to become stronger. I agree that it is tempting you to use dark magic. I have not used or plan to ever dark magic and you know it better than me, but it could want you to just use a little bit and then each time it will be like it won't hurt if its just a little more.

Im not gonna use dark magick more because i could seriously end up hurting Josh. I will however use my anger but for the right reasons. From what my friend has just informed me right now its so weak it shouldn't put up much of a fight

So just a update for you all
I did the ritual last night had some really random stuff happen for example at one point i felt a breeze behind me
And then at one point i came over a fit of hysterics whenever i said demon but my friend assured me the hysterics were most likely caused by both Isis and ra laughing at this thing. Now i just need to bury the candle used for the spell

Have you spoken to your friend yet? How is he doing? I've never this sort of thing long distance before, I'm very curious if it takes longer, etc...

I never got to speak with Josh he never got bad in touch however i do know it worked. It seems i may have a knack for doing this thing though.
