I need a spell and I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me here.
I'm pretty much sure that my ex is saying awful things about me behind my back... ::darkmood:: Does anyone know the spell to make him stop doing that? I know one, but they are only to make him stop saying bad things TO me... not bad things about me to the other people.
Anyone??

you could probably alter the spell that you already have so that it's more applicable - a lot of the time only a few words [or actions] need to be changed

I found a good one on this site, I believe JBRaven posted it quite a while ago. I often make subtle alterations to spells and can't remember if I've changed this one for my BOS but I''ll post it as I have it (PS: sorry JBRaven, if this is yours, I'm guilty of some sloppy record keeping)


Slavic Runespell against Slander

Make a sachet of marigold petals and bay leaves. Carry with you and it will dispel gossip. Slippery Elm is powerful and well-suited to this task, though harder to obtain.

Here is one, its not mine, its from Lady Of The Earth Spells ( I don't know if its ok to say another site's name here, but I cannot take credits on this one)

TO STOP AN ENEMY FROM SPREADING GOSSIP ABOUT YOU



Write the name and full birthdate of your gossiping enemy on a piece of slippery
elm bark. Wrap it in a piece of black cloth and say:

(Name of enemy)
Be now silent
Let your bitter tongue be broken.
(Name of enemy)
Be now silent
Let no evil words be spoken.
So mote it be!

Bury the cloth covered bark in a forest or graveyard at night by the light of a
pale, waning moon as you visualize your enemy unable to speak whenever he or she

For this you can use a mirror and a picture of him. If it's a compact you can put his picture inbetween while chanting this and keeping it there for as long as you want to make sure that whatever ill he sends will be returned to him. If you don't have a compact but a big mirror you can take a picture of his and stick it to your mirror his face facing the mirror. You can even draw a pentacle on the back or write a protection symbol on the back.

You could do a honey or sugar jar. Take a small jar and clean it. Place a picture of the person (or write their name on paper. You can use hair as well) you want to "sweeten" in the jar. Add any herbs you think will help. Put sugar or honey in the jar. Put lid on and place a pink candle on the lid and burn. Let the wax cover the jar. Burn candle daily or until it burns out until you think the person has stopped. Put in dark place.

You can also use this to bring back lovers and for bosses at work.

I've created a spell based on your ideas, if that's alright.

Because of the three-fold rule I do my best to stray away from spells that could potentially cause harm in myself and others, and do not wish to bend free will to suit my needs. So I always try to make my intentions clear so nothing bad happens.

With your idea I've thought to combine the doll and the picture, if you don't mind. I just thought it was a very good idea is all


Now thinking of this person may bring up feelings of anger or resentment, so I would say your best bet to avoid bringing the other harm would be to meditate for a little while, and try to think of their positive qualities, and realize that everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes, and this happens to be theirs. Maybe even think of some things you've done to anger another person, and the guilt you felt, but you were forgiven, right? So try to let go of your anger and only wish them the best, to avoid unintentionally bringing this person harm. Keep in mind only doing this spell because you feel this person won't bring their self to care about the harm they're bringing you, and think of this spell as a sort of nudge in the right direction, only wishing for respect.

Get a picture of the person you wish to stop spreading rumors about you, and cut out the head and attach it to the doll's face. I'm a very visual person, so this combination would help me more than simply using a doll or just a picture.

Grab some thread and a needle - I would use black thread, to symbolize the banishing of ill-speak, as you will use the thread to sew the mouth on the picture shut.

This can be all you need, or you can add more. I haven't done a spell like this, but if i were to do it sometime in the future, I would use some candles.

Black to repel negativity.
Brown for friendship.

So to begin, take your doll with the picture of the person's face whom you wish to cast this spell on. Get your black thread and needle ready to use.

Light your black candle as you visualize the negativity leaving the person spreading the gossip.
Light your brown candle as you visualize you and this person sharing mutual respect.

As you chant this spell i've written, begin to tightly sew the mouth of the person in the picture.
