Everything Under the Moon

So I want to make a set of Ogham fews for Samhain, but I am having some trouble deciding what to make them out of. Usually they are made out of rectangular wooden blocks about an inch thick and 3 or 4 inches long, think Jenga blocks. Does anyone know of any kind of blocks or craft material that is similar to that but is not actually a Jenga block? I don't want to use the toy because I would have to sand the word Jenga out of every block. If anyone knows of something that is not printed on that I could use, I would be very grateful!
