I am trying to get some crystals online and while there are many shops, I don't know which are value for price? Do you have any recommendations to new crystal collectors? And how to shop online since you can't see or choose them?

When you say "crystals" do you mean polished quartz points? Tumbled, assorted stones? Read descriptions and dimensions carefully. Sizes vary in centimeter or inch or by gram weight. Check a ruler to get a good idea. Some sites provide photos and send the one pictured only If they say so.

I've bought bulk by 1/2 pound bags of raw thumb-size clear quartz points or 1-inch tumbled stones in clear quartz, rose, citrine & amethyst of B grade on amazon that were pretty good for the price. Always check the reviews. Otherwise I buy at rock n gem shows in person.

Shipping costs can be deal breakers.

Buying online can be really really tricky! I only baught bulks online - 1kg tumbled or raw stones. Mixed or quarz.
I baught a necklace once and was shocked when it arrived! I was aware of the size - the number - but didn't pick up a ruler.

We have a stone lady that has a small stand on almost every (flea)market around. She sells nice stones at a good price.

Once i baught some online through craigs list. I saw them on the picture and loved them! Loved em even more when i got the package.

I use crystal-cure.com. When I can’t find any around town.

What crystals are you looking for? I'm not set up online (yet), I do set up at rock shows and Pagan Pride events. If I don't have what you are looking for, I may be able to steer you in the right direction.
