What the topic says. I've got this crystal which is about a centimeter long (not round). Are its energies/power lesser than larger ones or...?

No, size does not matter. You could have a crystal the size of a pinkie nail and one the size of a boulder. It does not affect performance at all.

I agree with Ravencry, size doesn't matter. When it comes to stones and crystals. (Now, now, take your mind out of the gutter I didn't mean THAT!)

I think size does matter in some things such as with herbs sometimes.

With herbs a larger (or more mature herb) sometimes makes a difference.

I want to explain that last post a bit better. With plants size is sometimes about how mature the plant is. A rosemary plant that has just sprouted does not feel the same to me as one that is older and more mature.

There are several reasons for this but as this thread isn’t about herbs but stones I won’t go any further with this topic but I did want to make a bit clearer what I said above.

Sometimes the form does matter. Is it more like a ball or shaped like a stick? It channels the energy differentially. Also I think size matters, but not in the scale we experience. In my opinion a smaller stone needs recharging or cleaning more often (if it's used as a storage stone, this will not be the case for a stone used for transformation or a stone that channels just the energy), but the timescale will be maybe one year to 10 years. Normally you will clean or recharge more often. Also, this is only my personal feeling, there may be different approaches to stones.

Really it comes down to how you feel about it.

For example if i were to do a precise "sharp" energy projection, for example to forcefully heal or to act as a tip for a staff/wand etc... then i would choose smaller, sharper shaped crystal. If i were to make a stone for storing a large amount of energy and then acting like a slowly discharging air freshener to flood an area with positive energy (for example cleansing a house and keeping it cleansed) then i would choose a big stone, regardless of shape, so it has that "unstoppable force" type feeling rather than the "sharp precise laser" feeling i would get from a smaller stone.
